Title: allowing scammers on site Post by: camolist on March 13, 2013, 09:44:15 AM this is not a scam accusation so do not move it to that sub forum
this is for discussion on why the forum admin choose to selectively enforce the scammer tag https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=140945.0 and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=136803.0 have all the info needed and claims from multiple users who have been scammed from this (including staff and well respected people in the community) like conspirosphere.tk PsychoticBoy usagi TradeFortress Namworld just to name a few from random posts taken from the threads above scam accusation threads are being ignored. private messages are being ignored. i'd like an open discussion about why this could be? what is the point of scammer tags if something as clear as this is ignored. we're dealing with a asset that has 85% ownership by people remaining private who are still being paid... i'm not one to start conspiracy theory's but one has to wonder Title: Re: allowing scammers on site Post by: John (John K.) on March 13, 2013, 10:57:54 AM Please read this thread closely: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=148776.0
And theymos's reply here: Keep in mind that I never signed up to be the Universal Arbiter of Bitcoin Truth and Justice. I give people scammer tags when it's extremely clear to me that they've broken agreements or otherwise behaved very unethically. I don't have time to (and I don't want to) investigate these things thoroughly, which is why high-profile scam cases are rarely handled quickly. I wait until things settle down and the truth becomes obvious. ... Title: Re: allowing scammers on site Post by: camolist on March 13, 2013, 11:00:58 AM https://cryptostocks.com/securities/29
Listed on December 06, 2012 10:12 dividends tab (blank) can it be made any clearer? if so how so and i'll do it but here is the users own post quoting the contract - with his crytostocks listing showing no payments. Relaunched on Cryptostocks! Bitbond (Cryptostocks (http://Cryptostocks.com/) ticker BITBOND (https://cryptostocks.com/securities/29)) is a perpetual mining bond where you can buy mining power and receive weekly mining payouts, without buying and maintaining expensive hardware. Payouts will continue indefinitely. Bond features
Benefits over other bonds
FAQ When would payouts begin? Payouts started on 4/8/2012 See the post after this for payout history How long will it take to start mining? Mining started on Saturday 4/7 at 2 PM. It is a subset of my mining hash power currently on maxbtc.com (https://www.maxbtc.com/top-miners/) What is your hardware setup? I exclusively run GPUs for mining due to my low power costs. I may offer further bonds in the future with FPGA hardware if the economics are right and the FPGA vendor can deliver when I need it Why/how 105% PPS? First, I will be doing merged mining so those coins will be used to increase the pay per share. Also, I would like to offer a good value for each bondholder. The extra 5% will add up over the weeks, months, years. If reinvested it will greatly accelerate ROI compared to 100% PPS options. What if you have technical issues/downtime? I have more than 210 Gh/s operating with a total capacity beyond 300 Gh/s. Should there be any downtime, I will contribute hashes from my personal farm to ensure the full dividend is paid each week. Title: Re: allowing scammers on site Post by: John (John K.) on March 13, 2013, 11:06:44 AM https://cryptostocks.com/securities/29 I know, I know,..I'm just pointing out that theymos holds off the tagging unless it's absolutely clear to him, and takes time in doing so. I'll forward this request to him now. Listed on December 06, 2012 10:12 dividends tab (blank) contract quoted here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=136803.0 "Weekly payouts" "Perpetual - no expiration date" to name two can it be made any clearer? if so how so and i'll do it (edit going to read the thread now..but just wanted to point this out.. not sure how i can make it more obvious) Title: Re: allowing scammers on site Post by: camolist on March 17, 2013, 02:45:51 AM I moved this to archive (hope it's the correct place)
