You missed it, the last ever block reward decrease was in February 2015. From now onwards there will be a fixed number of dogecoins reward for each block. That number will never get halved again. Dogecoin had a very fast mining window, with most of the coins mined by February 2015.

What do you mean?  without limit in supply its price is cheaper. Perhaps you mean if it had a massive use.

Quote
This represents an inflation rate of 5.256% (in 2015), that will decay over time due to new coins being introduced into the economy (e.g. in 2025 yearly inflation rate will be 3.4%, in 2035 2.5%, etc...).

(from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogecoin)

Compare that to Bitcoin inflation:

Quote
Bitcoin inflation rate per annum:   8.72%
Bitcoin inflation rate per annum at next block halving event:   4.09%

Dogecoin does have one important use that no one has realized yet - it alone in the established public coins can implement a flexible blocksize thanks to its perpetual emission.

In real terms it is limited. The small amount generated now is just to keep up with lost coins. Ie people deleting wallets by mistake etc.

Actually i like dogecoin to send money rather than bitcoin
it has cheap fee only 1 dogecoin (48 sat) and fast confirmed transaction
But with no limit supply make it not have price, price will slowly going down and down and next die.

Exactly.  Said another way:

The annual growth rate in the total supply of dogecoin will decrease every year in perpetuity from block 600,001+. The key is that the amount of coins per block be more or less fixed in perpetuity - the consequence of which is that the relative effect of mining those coins decreases from one unit of time to the next - also in perpetuity.

And yet another way of saying it is that everyone on the planet who would ever want doge can have it eventually.  And another:  it'll eventually inflate itself into complete worthlessness.  But I still have a soft spot in my heart for doge.  Don't know why; it isn't rational.

Pharmacist what pills did you swallow?

yes inflating @5Billion/year but it will take 20 years to double the supply ... 40years after that ...80years after that ... so in 140 years (@ current demand) ... that would inflate the value to around 10 sathoshi.

Hmm... Fiat currencies have inflation greater than doge, but they are still around.
If doge can find its niche, people might accept that it is an inflationary currency.

Actually the price of doge has been very stable - it trades between 43 and 46 satoshi. And it's price in USD is even more stable. It's a sweet little coin.  :)

Dogecoin is a nice coin to trade to - since one satoshi up/down in price is a large step in %.

Yes! I cannot count how many times (ESP on CEX) that I have transfered value from exchange to exchange with Doge, and converted back to btc to trade with. Low fees, and fast as fuck. Two qualities I like associated with my trading.

I do this with ltc from time to time, if the Doge order books aren't looking right.

And yes. Also, they do odd promotional shit in the real world every once in a while (remember the NASCAR thing?) That makes the price spike for a few days. Of which I approve wholeheartedly.

This is a very good question because i dont relly dont know too unlike bitcoin that you can feel fast if there is a even of halving or not
In dogecoin in my speculation dogecoin halving every 1 year and half.. this is just my speculation but i will still wait for new post..

That was answered above, but anyway:

Block 600,000 forward: 10,000 Dogecoin current reward   ->> so that anymore halving to Dogecoin (specifications are  different in each coin).

if doge goes under 33 sat i am buying. the odds of another pump of greater than +75 sats is good imo

The production may be limited, but the rate is going to decrease year on year.
The developers figure that would be sufficient to actually have controlled inflation.
