Title: Waves Poloniex Statement
Post by: CantWithhold on June 26, 2016, 01:35:34 AM
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA256

The time has come for a statement of Poloniex, Wilmington, DE, USA, concerning the “Waves Platform”.

I am a high-ranking employee of the exchange and wish to remain anonymous.

We have been contacted by Alexander Ivanov, founder of Coinomat and Wavesplatform.

Mr. Ivanov has asked us repeatedly to list a WAVE/BTC trading pair and sent us the full node code that is required for integration.

After an extensive audit we have decided not to add Waves to our exchange.

The code contains malicious functions that allow the Waves developers to execute arbitrary commands. Additionally, we have discovered that the code sends statistics to the Russian government.

Poloniex will not cooperate with the Waves platform.

To bad you guys didn't bother auditing the DAO before you added it to your exchange. Might have been helpful ::)

I doubt that's true.  Poloniex has never made any public statement on why they decided not to list a coin/token.  And I don't think that will change.  Out of respect and a proper way to handle things, Poloniex would let this remain behind the scenes and would not have issued a public statement that would risk debasing any platform or project.  That's just bad for business overall.

The crypto ecosystem is potentially becoming a criminal enterprise. I am not making any accusations. Be aware of the following speculation.

Someone implied that WAVES insiders could be making these posts to try to drive the price down on purpose:

...They are also using 1K of ICO funds to buy back even more coins. Interesting how the market appears to be suppressed now...

So.. next time check your facts before opening your mouth or contact me to vette your "opinion" son.  8)
There is my opinion and the wrong one..

PS:
@OP
Cool story bro and i wish it was true.. Waves is an ICO and they are all scams. (so it should not be added regardless)
I also am not impressed with Poloniex's track record & wish they would get their shit together.
I lost a lot of respect for them watching them like eager-beavers running to add BlockNET way back.

And hella great point.. where were they with the scam ICO DAO or ICO scam Ethereum for that matter ?
Seems to me they just sort of add any scammy ass ICO bullshit ..as long as they get paid.
Classy  ::)

I am highly suspicious this news is true though.

December 2013 = Crime pays very well: Cryptolocker grosses up to $30 million in ransom (http://www.pcworld.com/article/2082204/crime-pays-very-well-cryptolocker-grosses-up-to-30-million-in-ransom.html)

Welcome to Crypto NOOB hahahhahaa

I have faaaaaaaaar larger stats than that too.
Bitcoin's market is saturated with Ransomware profits being moved around..

Sadly all of you are too fucking stupid to recognize the dangers of these or how relevant it is.
You will never see it brought up.. i did a few times over the years..
But when i do the mouthy cuntcicle loser dregs here flip out & mouth me off.
..then go on & on saying if i post a warning here then i am advertising them etc etc.
Which is of course fucking retarded beyond comprehension yet par of the course with 'The Talk BlowTard's  ::)

[NEWS] Ransomware (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1359542.0) By Spoetnik February 10, 2016, 05:15:40 AM

Read the link and see "smart guys" like Franky lip me off for posting a warning.
Apparently to him with his infinitely wise logic.. If i warned about a rapist on the loose ?
That would mean i am adverting for rape and helping make it easier to rape people.
LOL Idiots  ::)

ALT's ?
YES ..i have seen a pile of virus in wallets that had keyloggers etc posted in this forum section too !

PS:
There you have it.. my opinion (The Correct One)
So lets all not loiter around and pretend you know "things".

So pipe done Mensa Investards, I am the smart one here !

PPS:
I think we need more Canadians here or something.. maybe that explains the intelligence level problem here.
Too many silly Americans struttin' around jigglin' their mighty grandiose Dick-Holsters around ?

If the value of your crypto-currency is derived solely from Bitcointalk FUD or.. hype / spam etc.
Then i'd say we got a problem  :D

Just imagine if these coins did not have this forum to post on..
Then what ?
Where would Ethereum or Waves be ?

Crying FUD for bucks $ is the reality here.

When they mentioned that the statistics were sent to the Russian government, I knew this was some bogus statement.
I am not a holder but this is ludacris, hope nobody felt for it.

No way this is a real thing, it's not logical to say they send stats to the Russian government, and to what purpose ?
So this is a spycoin ?
