If your seriously thinking of paying 0,5btc theres something wrong with you. Thats an obvious scam, What legit company would charge you to get your money back? This is right up their with the old nigerian princes that just need 2000 dollars to release your payment of  1 million.

Who ever wrote it is also more illiterate than me. How many clues do you need?

This is pure scam guys anybody who can buy domain have thought this idea to make few bitcoin fast and don't know how much bitcoin he already have got fooling others. But this can't be true, if they are from hashocean they should only be asking for username and email used with your bitcoin address to receive payments. That pay fee to get refund is enough to smell scam in this. SCAM ALERT

Sounds like a phishing email. I wouldn't trust it but if people want to be the test dummy then go for it.

I just dont see that working. Remember they closed out their facebook and typically a hacker after their coin wouldnt even waste time doing that.

It sounds like someone that was close to the operation, didn't get their cut and wants to cash in on the hopes of those that lost.

If it's even $1 from all 700,000 accts that's $700,000!

Its something you see at your average mom and pop convenience store where that non America clerk never gives you back your exact change but always keeps the penny. Do that to 100 million people and you'll have your 1 million dollars.

Sneaky ,smart and long term thievery. No one will notice a few pennies.

What a shocker! Someone is trying to gain as much Bitcoin as he/she/they can by using a f*cked up website like that one which can be done in only few minutes. Any person who send money to the website can consider their money lost, will greed of you people ever stop, I read here someone thought to risk 0.5 Bitcoin which is stupid to the very core. Do not fall for these scams it appears many are trying to take profit through these websites now from people sorrow, greed and despair. You need to stay cool and don't send money to scammers like this.

Guys, the letter says they don't have a backup.  If they don't have a backup, they have no way to verify the information they are asking of you.  This is a very lame attempt to steal more money from the already impoverished Hashocean users.

 Don't send anything!

The source code of the main page is symptomatic of a scam: it contains the bare minimum in order to avoid exploits and protect the identity of the webmaster.

Here is an archive of the website: https://archive.is/5KC6u (https://archive.is/5KC6u)

If you want to visit it, I strongly recommand to visit the archive and not the website directly (or at least use a VPN/Tor).

It seems that Hashocean's site is offline and it will never come back. I am also from one of them who lost their hard earned money even without receiving single payout. I was increase power by reinvesting to receiving a handsome amount per day.

But dream are over now. I'll pray for its comeback.

Perfect re-scam as long as this person have not posted and also he have posted that phrase on more than 2-3 threads which make him a suspicious person to be trusted. Also someone who invest 30 Bitcoins to pyramidal scheme like Hashocean is not someone to be called precisely smart. Its a re scam absolutely.

https://www.facebook.com/oceanhash

I send email they and wait for answer. 3880 Hs to refund  >:(
Hey, what are you doing? HashOcean sending a scams email to their users to gather another bitcoin from their users and after this, they want to take and running the bitcoin of their users.

lmao let him what he actually want to do , it is not our responsibility to make and give a warning to them . let him lose his money again and fall into the trap of hashocean  ;D ;D

Amen. Even in a time of despair, it doesn't do to give in to desperation and make irrational decisions. Send more money to the folks that just lost all my money? Bully on that.

Cut your losses, friend.

Amen to what now?  Is it leave the guy to make a mistake or do we advise him to cut his losses?  I'm confused.

If one hasn't wizened up to this being a a scam by now, one still hasn't learned the lesson being taught ATM. So, amen to a fool and his money soon parting. Apparently, it's cyclical. But, I offered a nugget of wisdom at the end because I'm not completely rotten. Just mostly.

Seriously you still have hope of being reimbursed by Hashocean?

The HashOcean was always scam and was very noticeable knowing it, I was too obvious. I will mention a few points that I noticed when I met soon. How do I invest in several legitimate mining, could immediately identify the face that Hashocean was a ponzi ...

1 Images disclosed in photos of their "data centers", was not the Hashocean, but the Genesis Mining, all the pictures were in the social networks of Genesis. This already shows a contradiction of information!

2 ° The legitimate mining work with GH / s and TH / s, it never KH / s which is a measure of lesser value.

3 ° The measures KH / S would never give the profit shown in the calculator of them, those profits values can only be obtained with at least one TH / if it was easy to see, it was just use a calculator part to see that data did not add up.

4 ° Generally legitimate mining has a contract and you have to accept that agreement for power. Each purchasing power has to accept the agreement and always have electronic signature in hashocean had none of these, the maximum had was a term of use and privacy policy, which does not explain anything about mining power.

5 ° All legitimate mining, absolutely all, without exception, they charge maintenance fee. Or do you think will mine and mining costs will be free? Of course not right! Miners do not assume these rates, we have to pay. In Hashocean, had no maintenance fee.

6 The main point, Hashocean presented on its website 450 GH / s saying that it was the power of mining all "Data centers" it. But she had more than 700 thousand users. The power values it claimed to have could not afford all users. It was only add! simple accounts by the way. All users have earned 15 KH / s for free forever. We know that in 1000 KH / s is 1 MH / s, and 1000 MH / s is 1 GH / s. Therefore 1 GH / s has 1,000,000 KH / s. Now let the sums first we add the 15 KH / s each account receives for free. 15 * 700,000 = 10,500,000 KH / s = 10.5 GH / s. Now suppose that each user had 700 KH / s, which was the equivalent of a unit and the second hashocean, each unit gave the right to a video card. 700 * 700,000 = 490.000.00 KH / s = 490 GH / s. Only this value already exceeds the values they claimed to have in its "Data Centers". We all know that had users with much more power mining it. There were users who had 1,700,000 KH / s = 1.7 GH / s in your account. Let's add it up now 10.5 + 490 = 500.5 GH / s. Therefore to meet all its users Hashocean needed at least 500.5 GH / s. This amount corresponding to the "supposed Data Centers" are not equivalent to 1 or TH / s.
Now one impostante detail will be based on the mining equipment AntMiner. A AntMiner S7 is equivalent to 4.73 TH / s. Therefore Hash Ocean had no one AntMiner S7. (A AntMiner S7 can mine on average 1 BTC per month)

7 The supposed location of the 7 Data Centers HashOcean, looking at Google Maps, the site was a BAR.

I think after that I do not need to say anything else related to PONZI SCHEME THAT IS HASHOCEAN, striking more than 700,000 users.

I did not received an email from Hashocean but based on what I am seeing in social media sites, it really is a scam because why should they ask for a payment in order to process it when in fact they are the one who owe us. It's like rubbing salt in the wound if we will send them again for processing. Lesson learned for me. I will never invest again in a ponzi scheme.

That money is gone. Most of the time i find a company which is new and offers good profit i try to invest small amounts too. but with hashocean it was too clear that they would scam their users. Which is why i let it pass by.

Yeah! I do not know how thousands of people have fallen in this farce. This is the lack of research. People believe what they see first comment on hashocean. They do not seek more information about the company. They are convinced and are blinded with high profits that the mining company promised ... Just for this fact was already to be suspicious. I bet if the owners of HashOcean open another mining company, most users invest. I can not understand a thing. = S
