Title: Best online wallet Post by: lucky1064 on March 14, 2013, 03:37:55 AM Just interested in people's opinions on the best online wallet.
Sure i want security - but don't want a 20 digit password they generate meaning I have to carry it around. Got my android wet - so that isn't a solution yet :) having all coins in a pc wallet (the default one from Bitcoin - using qt software) (Pic of the one i mean: http://gyazo.com/e8efc0aa7f70d0995327fd49f49b621e.png?1363232197 (http://gyazo.com/e8efc0aa7f70d0995327fd49f49b621e.png?1363232197) PC only wallet scares me - hardrives crash, and as I've read lately unless you backed up recently, it seems you have lost coin? Lose your laptop completely, and it is all gone!! Thus the online (non scam) wallet. Any suggestions? Also I dismissed it for a dumb reason, somehow I got the language ticker (upper right) changed to german (i'm in usa) - and the hassle of translating every page turned me off. I feel kinda dumb when i realized what I had done. Will give it another serious look, thanks for the advice. Do people have multiple wallets - with amounts split between them for safety? Too bad no such thing as FDIC bitcoin wallet :( And the scammers get all the press. Anyway, thanks! Any other suggestions - of other online wallets people like / rec welcome! Title: Re: Best online wallet Post by: imamanandyou on March 14, 2013, 08:54:00 PM I using Instawallet.org
All you need is bookmark the wallet, if you bookmark it on two computers and only small sums for spending, you should be happy with this solution Title: Re: Best online wallet Post by: elitegoodguy on March 14, 2013, 08:59:33 PM Blockchain.info I'd say would be one of the better ones

Title: Re: Best online wallet Post by: hitemup on March 17, 2013, 04:21:22 AM I agree with most, go with Blockchain.info. I do enjoy using Electrum as a desktop client.
Title: Re: Best online wallet Post by: Ascension on March 17, 2013, 04:26:00 AM Blockchain.info is the easiest to use and most accessible. They offer 2 factor authentication.
Instawallet charges its users for using their service and they have control over all the funds. The safest wallet is a paper one. You can generate a paper waller here www.bitaddress.org Title: Re: Best online wallet Post by: lucky1064 on April 05, 2013, 08:17:47 PM Thanks for all the info, really appreciated.
