Holly shit, they are still trying to scam their investors by asking some btc for refund. Dont be dumb to send your btc again.
If they just want to refund, they could do it directly without asking their investore to send more btc. I know 0.015xx sounds so small amount, but imagine if they ask it to all their investors. 0.015*700,000 = 10,500btc

I recieved that message to and i believe thats not hashocean making those refund site theyre just grabbing the oppurtunity just to scam people again and thats pity doing for fraud people   theyre making no sense at all they want to do bad things again to the investor for their own sake.

Thats why we must be carefull for those who dont know so much in bitcoin we must be vigilant no refund well be happening in HO side theyre scammers not givers.

Folks, it does not take money to get a refund. Obvious reason why this is obvious: if the hackers have stolen the database, they could simply use the information to claim the refunds themselves. So no company would propose this as an actual solution. For refunds in situations like this with real products, you simply have to provide proof of purchase. Not pay money. Honestly, what good sense would it make to give money to people that have proven they don't know how to hold money?

Maybe it come from fake HO email, there are some scammer who use name HO to scam people, and obviously HO itself is scammer from they start business.
People need to learn about investment like this. Earn a lot bitcoin is not easy as type a captcha, need a lot hard work.

Would be nice if the law officers get the scammers and punish them. A bit hard to happen, but I still believe because many people lost lots of money. This issue can't finish so easily without consequences for scammers.

Yes!!!! Since when was "we fucked up" a proper excuse for losing millions of dollars! And in such a preventable way! The negligence on the part of the operator is almost criminal every time, but it's all cool and eventually fades into the background when someone steals something else.

HashOcean, DAO, I'm looking at you. For HashOcean it's obvious, but for the DAO, it would be akin to holding millions of dollars in a briefcase that everyone knows you have, then leaving it in a parking lot with a cheap lock. Eventually, someone is gonna get in. Not if. When.

So i don't really understand this mssg, how does hashocean know that you are owner of this address if you received payouts to other address, and second this means that you have to send btc to yourself, and that doesn't make any sense!
Did you post this so naive people can send btc to your wallet?

If they send 700,000 people an email asking for 0.015 BTC, that's just a genius last step to get more money out of the people they scammed. I expect a large part of that 700,000 people to fall for it, because they fell for the ponzi scam in the first place. So if 50,000 people pay, that's an easy 750 BTC again for the scamsite!

I especially love the part about how their mining system is irreversibly damaged...  ???

I mean, I'm new around here, but even I know that unless the hackers managed to physically break into the mining data centre and go crazy with an axe or C4 or something... how can the mining equipment can be damaged??!?

So, either this is HashOcean running one last scam on the 700,000 people it has already ripped off and they never actually had proper mining equipment... or, most likely, it is some 3rd party trying to cash in on the desperation of 700,000 people who got scammed by HashOcean.

Either way... DO NOT send any coin anywhere and do not reply to the email.

Another cloudscamming site gone to dust. All of the cloudscamming websites will share the same fate sooner or later.

This one is though, they have no shame at all. First they run a scam company and gather people's money, and when they were about to collapse, they use your emotions to steal more from you.

Yeah they did. It was a scam right from the beginning. Guys here fell for it and all the btc went to scammers. Everytime a doubler or a ponzi scams, every turns out and weep out but most of them doesn't takes a step forward to take care from next time and don't fell for those kind of ponzis. I am quite sure that there are many users who despite being scammed by early ponzis were scammed by this ponzi too.

They really scammed the people pretty good in my eyes because they have faked it all for the most.
They are now enjoying there cocktail due to the fact they almost took near the 1m dollar right ?
near 1 million dollars and still up realising they have so many another similar website which still running and dumb people still referring each other,
just see the fact another cloud mining site having hashocean links on the theme so i could consider the owner was the same, and there's no "enjoying" word for them because they're still greedy to make a brand new scam website

Why would it be 0.015, they could ask to to sign a message to prove your ownership of the address or a pay a smaller amount.

Don't fall for this one.

Gotcha dude! pretending for being innocent , maybe he just try to act that he doesnt know but he forgot to erase his btc address. Epic fail!  He assumed that someone newbie would read it and believe and send some btc on the given address. Nice dude! you got him and i didnt even notice it.

It's those hackers and scammers who are exploiting people's judgement. In a way it's not a fair game.
People want to get profit and are too greedy to do any due diligence.

Another way to steal money.  :(

Hackers will do the most crazy things to earn a couple of bucks. Like criminals they are low life people who deserve jail time or a beating.
Whatever comes first.

Don fall for that scam. You are already scammed by this scammer. They take away your money and they want more? Like a son asking his parents for money. Beware with that asshole.

Anything that tells you to send money before they can send you money, after being hacked, is obviously a scam. I can't believe you even have to ask that.

A legit company would never send you an email like that.

Another lame move by HashOcean... Man, it's dead, you've lost your money, now just forget it. If you really wanna lose more of your money, then follow their instructions. This website has been pathetic since their launch.

It's clearly a scam attempt. Don't send any amount to such address and if you took the lesson you haven't to deposit anything more with this so called "cloud mining" sites.
