Title: Halvening! Can I buy Bitcoins at this high price?
Post by: AGD on June 29, 2016, 05:27:05 AM
Hey, I am about to get some money and I have already bought Bitcoins at a low price some years ago and I am pretty much not interested in buying right now, but I thought it would be a good idea to open up a honeypot for dem sig spammers, that I can put on my ignore list. Most will not even read until the end, so it does probably not matter if I actually put some content in it or not. I guess I can simply throw some interesting words like "Blockchain", just to pimp it up a little. First I thought I could open up some more topics with the question about what I can do with 1.6 or 2.7 Bitcoins, but I couldn't decide what number to use. I think I should end this one with some interesting stuff, like:
Is Bitcoin really going to die or do we have still time to buy?

Thank you for your time.

You can buy bitcoin anytime you want but it is your decision because it may rise more or dump. But I think you still can buy with todays price, we may experience some more pumps the following weeks before halving. Just be ready with what may be the outcome.

You can buy bitcoin any time you want ,but my suggestion is not this time  there a chance it will fall after halving .try to earn bitcoin free .

I suggest you to buy small amounts daily instead of buying large amount in one time

You could also say the opposite, For all we know after the halvnig price could sky rocket and you will never be able to buy at this price again. Maybe you would be best buying a small amount now and just averaging out your buys over the next few months. You could still send up paying more but its a gamble whichever route you take.

Yes it ok to buy bitcoins now even the price is quite high than the past months. Its never too late. if you buy now you will gain some profits when halving strikes. But it is not quite high than you buy from month february

Price is lower at a moment, from $780 it has come down to $635 so I think you should buy some coins if you feel that price will rise at the halving, its a risk to take as price is going  down and down.

I also think at the moment price is almost 2x higher than last year and it looking extremely when we compare with it our buy price but i am quite sure it has very good potential for significantly rise and will continue start moving to the moon so that if you have enough funds for savings than bitcoin is the right choice.

everytime bitcoin is provided for you on every exchange site you can buy it. are you sure to buy bitcoin on higher price?
A lot of people in here is believing if the bitcoin price will increase for significantly after halving.

I guess you made your point about this, because a lot of these people just read the heading and not the content and started to comment on it. I am not one of those as you can see and I try to comment on topic with information that are relevant and constructive.

To answer the core of you question, that is relevant to Bitcoin :  ;) Yes, Anytime is a good time to buy, because we do not know what will happen with the Bitcoin price in the future. ^smile^

See not ALL signature campaign members are spammers, some of us just take that as a added bonus for the time we spend here posting constructive content and discussing related Bitcoin topics.

What are you talking about? I must get banned because I replied constructively to his "fake" thread? I read his whole post and replied appropriately. I also read all these other spammers posts and highlighted it to the OP. Why I did that, was just to show that not ALL signature members are spammers.

OP started his post with a valid argument, and then concealed the true purpose of this thread in the middle. I replied to both of these issues. Not ALL signature campaign members are spammers, some of us do contribute constructively. I spend 3 hours a day, reading most of these topics and posts and then commenting constructively with proper research done. I then go back and edit these posts to fill in blanks. Some of us put some effort and time into this, and the signature campaign payment is a added reward for that. ^hmmmm^

Hope you can spot the difference.  ::)

Buy now sell later, maybe store them for 2 years..or sell them if the bitcoin price fits with you.
Its too hard to predict where will bitcoin could go. But its up to you.. trust your instincts.

The price should maintain at this price until the reward halving in 10 days! I guess the price will not change much before and after. THe real rally will happen some time after the reward halving when the decrease in supply is felt by the market.

Yes, i think it's still a good time to buy bitcoins even the price of bitcoin is a bit high right now. I'm sure the price of bitcoin will increase again soon, so i think yes, you should buy bitcoin now.

+1 someone should make this guy a mod, or should recommend this honeypot method to hilariousandco.

Well unfortunately I read your entire message since I'm not a sig spammer. I only reply to threads that interest me. Maybe I'll do the same and open up some honeypots, but naah. Given the forum content quality is going downhill, we don't really need more sh*tposts.

That's the problem with sig campaigns. They encourage newbies and plain greedy people to open up multiple accounts and fill the forum with ad-riddled sh*tposts.
Campaign managers should impose stricter regulations regarding memberships (e.g. minimum senior member since it's easy enough to be a full member). Post quality can't really be monitored closely since someone can post a lot. Do people really want to sift through all your posts?

Oh, and buying BTC is still your call. It's pretty much a gamble given that the halving will happen in a few days.

If you will storing your bitcoin in long term. It is better to store it 10 years maybe. Im sure you will gain so much more profit than 2 years. If short term its better to monitor the bitcoin and if you are satisfied with the price you can sell it.

If you have a plan to hold it for at least next 5 years then I think this is the right price to buy bitcoins, as price will be really higher in future and you expect best profits from it.

This is a good step, but it also depends on your needs. because everyone has different needs, this is the same as investments. But this investment can certainly provide a great stroke of luck for the future of the bitcoin is very good. so if you want to do it this way then think about saving your money, is it enough to meet your needs or not

You should not hate these guys, because there are legitimate reasons for their concerns. We cannot look past the fact that we do have a problem with Sig spammers not contributing constructively to this forum. I am a signature member too, and I can see it too. < Just look at most of these replies to this thread, and you will spot them easily>

The mods should make more of these Honey trap threads to force people to actually read before they post. If they simply posted shit to feed their signature post count, they should be banned for a day or two to teach them not to do that. We have a problem, and this might just solve that.

I just want to add, that we should guard against generalization and punishing members who signed up to these signature campaigns for the right reasons. You have the simple choice < Post constructively and get paid for your time or still post on this forum and do not opt to get paid >

We should not ignore a problem, and we should also not ignore people who post constructively, because we hate people who misuse these signature campaigns.

Actually what you're doing is much worse than spamming, you're posing as a genuine poster looking for advice when in fact you're just scheming from atop your high horse.
The question you ask in the heading is clear and self-contained, it's only natural that you'll have people answer it directly without reading the op. But I suppose that that doesn't even matter since your question/thread is fake. At least you'll get your fix of self-righteousness from it.

why not buy at this level, i think the price has a lot of potential to grow at the moment because of the bitcoin block reward halving that will happen in around 10 days or something like that

i think it is a good time to buy your bitcoins right now because the price is most probably going to jump up a lot, at least im buying right now, i think ill make money out of it

For the long term it don't seem to be a problem to buy now. Even though the price is higher then a few months ago. But if you want to earn on the short term, It would be better to wait a bit.
I believe after the halving the price will go down because people don't expect it to go up anymore.

Which is just what my perspection is.

Yeah at a moment price is still good to make some investments in it as it will not be same in coming years and that time it will be really difficult to buy bitcoins.

i think the price is not yet so high. you can buy bitcoin at the present price. i think it is a good opportunity to buy bitcoin in the present time. the price of bitcoin are down because of the news about altcoin. so it is a temporary down fall and the rate can rise any time so you should buy bitcoin in present tie. it is also expected that the price can easily cross 1000 USD limit in next few days.

If you intended to be in bitcoin and forget for sometime in case if markets go down then certainly you can buy some and keep it. But yes as halving is nearing it may be more volatile and to get stable may take time. It could go anywhere up or down price.

How will that solve anything? These signature campaigns are backed by legitimate companies who funded these campaigns to advertise on a forum specifically oriented at their target market. They help

to increase adoption and also to place bitcoins in people's hands, who would ordinarily not have the means to buy it. Every person getting bitcoins from these signature campaigns, helps to build the

network {community} bigger. It's like one giant faucet system, with the only difference being that the work to be done for these campaigns are a lot more labor intensive than solving a few Capthas and

getting a few Satoshi's for the effort. Kudos for OP exposing the sig spammers, but bare in mind... what they are contributing to the whole Bitcoin ecosystem.  ;)

Bitcoin price is not much high now, a week ago it was at $780 but now it is at $630, so the price is lower , and within two days the price of bitcoin will be increased much higher. So you are allowed to buy and you will not lose while investing in there.

I really would have wait on a lower price to buy honestly.

We all have still time to buy bitcoin but seems that halving is not affecting the price recently after the huge pump and recent crash, the bitcoin price is staying around $650, we can't say that it is going to die as we don't know what will happen but you can give it a try.

i think you are really right, in my opinion the price is not big at all and i think that it will grow much more when the halving happens, not much time is left to wait until the halving right now

only ten days left and im pretty sure we will see a huge price growth that will allow all the investors who are holding right now to make some good money, hopefully i wont be wrong

You can buy much right now with the Bitcoin because the price is pretty high at the moment but I suggest that you do not buy anything and hold on to them for a while.
Wait for what is going to happen after the halving then you can decide what you are going to to with your Bitcoin.

to increase adoption and also to place bitcoins in people's hands, who would ordinarily not have the means to buy it. Every person getting bitcoins from these signature campaigns, helps to build the

network {community} bigger. It's like one giant faucet system, with the only difference being that the work to be done for these campaigns are a lot more labor intensive than solving a few Capthas and

getting a few Satoshi's for the effort. Kudos for OP exposing the sig spammers, but bare in mind... what they are contributing to the whole Bitcoin ecosystem.  ;)
You have a valid point. Although it's fine for me to post things like this, I think the one that should be left are those people who really putting effort to their posts not those people who just be doing lame statements.

There is no price too high for this thing, it is still low based on talks that I have been exploring on this forum, I think we may see a spike for sure.

As quoted you will get at least a small profit, you have missed the chance of making big profit. The one who bought yesterday might have got a small profit around $25 with a days time. So halving possibly gives big spike in price.

it is a fact that the time for halving is not too much. but unexpectedly i can say that the price is still how low and i think that is because of the news about altcoin. so i think in next few days the price of the bitocin can cross 1000 btc so it is a best time to invest in bitocin.

you are correct in my opinion, i think bitcoin will still have a lot of potential to grow in the future thus we might make a lot of money out of it, i think that its not big price

you can surely buy your bitcoins right now and i think that halving will push the price up even more and you will be able to make a lot of profit out of bitcoins really easily, though thats just my prediction

Thank you for your time.

well of course that you can buy bitcoin at price like this, by the way, it is even better for price as it will rise even more, and you will get some bitcoins so of course you can buy

and no of course if you will buy bitcoin won't die, bitcoin would die if there would be no buyers at all as people would sell lot's of bitcoins for smaller and smaller price

I don't know why there are some people so interested in wasting valuable time to hunt spammers. If there are available campaigns that are paying for spamming here, I think all these newbies are not committing any fault.

each individuals member here can buy bitcoins anytime they want, whether the price is high or low.
But as a good trader of course buying bitcoin now is not practical because in my part I'm just going to buy bitcoin if the price goes down. so buying bitcoins at high price value is really not practical for people like who don't have a lots of money. :)

yeah very true as we can see alot of new users and company have started to join bitcoin and seeing this the price is still low, halving has just gone and after that bitcoin has become more precious due to less mining and more complexity so its sure to see some big bump in the future !

even if we don't exactly see a "spike" in price we will surely see an stable rise in the future so long term investment is so good at this point but you always have to consider the possibility of going down and watch the price.

No bro Bitcoin will Never Be Died and you can Buy it Right Now and Sell it when the price Increases but if the price Not increases you can do Constant trading on Localbitcoins.com website. By Constant Trading I mean Buy At Low price From Someone and Sell It to Other Bitcoin Buyers at High Price....

You are right. I think it is better to buy some bitcoin now. The price is very low due to the Bitfinex hack.

now may be the right time to buy bitcoins , but still wait for few days and price falls down you can buy . but do not buy whole amount now itself , spilt your amount to 4 to 5 , buy part by part like 4 installments so that it will help you to keep the buying rate on same average.

I will take the bait since my name is already on your ignore list ;D...I guess it entered when I made a comment on one of your threads regarding block size increase, maybe you didn't like it :P I went through the list, almost 80% of Sig campaigners are on the list. Are all these spammers? I joined a Sig campaign after I became a hero member, not justifying my poor post quality, just saying, no offense taken being on your ignore list :)

Went through all the posts on this thread, majority have just grasped the title without taking a glance at the content ;D...Sig spammers indeed.

Also it's funny how the OP proves his point with these stupid people. LOL

I expect for Full Member and lower ranks to fall in this bait but surprisingly even Hero Members even bite into it. Before I reply, I tale a quick glance to the OP then the topic title then I find it suspicious but that doean't mean I don't read the content rather it is a way for me to judge if I continue reading it or not since I ex0ect for it to be nonsense.

You can buy bitcoin anytime you want but it is your decision because it may rise more or dump. But I think you still can buy with todays price, we may experience some more pumps the following weeks before halving. Just be ready with what may be the outcome.I suggest you to buy small amounts daily instead of buying large amount in one time

If you want to buy products for the bitcoins in the store, you will need to transfer the bitcoins from real money into the purse?
