Title: PC Gaming Raffle - Win $100 worth of Origin games!
Post by: Arrakeen on June 29, 2016, 07:35:52 PM
PC Gaming Raffle - Win Seven Origin games, worth ~$100!

I have some Origin keys for games that I either already own, or have no interest in playing....so they'll be awarded to one lucky bitcointalk user.

Rules:  Ten slots will be available.  One slot will cost .02 BTC.  Players have the right to choose their slot upon proof of transaction, and can purchase multiple slots.

Once all ten slots are filled, I will create a provably fair number generation @ http://www.randomresult.com/ticket.php, scheduled to generate an hour after all slots are filled.  Slots will be updated upon user entry.  The number generator's ticket will be posted in this thread, so all those that participated can view the result...or sit anxiously and F5 the page until it provides a number :P

The winner will then be sent their codes, through the communications medium of their choice (bitcointalk PM, email, steam/origin chat, etc.).

This raffle ends once all slots are filled.

Good luck!

To enter, send a payment of .02 BTC to 14wBN9Y3p59wVwyqWDdZsdfgixWZ711EoR  (https://blockchain.info/address/14wBN9Y3p59wVwyqWDdZsdfgixWZ711EoR)and post your transaction info in this thread, along with the entry number you'd like.

Adding to the rules: if only one entry is filled, they'll receive all the games :) if less than ten enter, the participants and myself will come to a conclusion on how to proceed; willing to refund as well.

Why we have to send an amount 0.02btc in order to participate. Seems like ???

But I suggest to @OP I guess you must escrow your funds so it is safe to participate and theres was also a refund as he said.

they are, but what's the difference?  You can't score all seven of these games for the price of one (winning ticket :) ).  If you can find all seven games, total their prices to be under .02btc, I'd gladly shut this down and gift the keys to someone else...

I can lower the price to whatever the community deems appropriate, seeing as how the games are practically useless to me (either played them, own them, or don't care for them).

Any participation fee would work, as long as the winner pays a far less price for his ticket compared to the retail prices of all these games.  I chose .02btc because .02 x 10 entries would average out to the price of all the games combined...but then again, I'm open to requests.

bumping this, I'm open for ideas on how to best create a raffle for all these games (there are more I can add to the list as well).  Thanks in advance!

Shooting this to the top; I'm still looking for more ideas on how to best reorganize this raffle (if needed).  Anyone have advice on how to create the most trustworthy raffle in a similar manner as the one I have?
