I would think so...I think he is like me in the ONE maybe camp on the A4 group buy....he is in the Midwest so the price for electric is not as good as west coast and Texas....so that may be your main consideration..me it don't matter much .....my stuff hosted there will come back to me OCT to help heat the house again (got to like 85% of house heated by Titans last winter lol ) so anyway might be just a Midwest thing :) off topic: I also recommend his X bracket mods to replace the knc kludge rubber heatsink hack...only 10 bucks last I heard... main thing is you get rid of MOST (left the 2 underneath holding the board) of them ...thus now that they have started to 'degrade' after 20 some months of use should have no more oil film issue on the board anymore ..yech...I mean with NO exaggeration it was like someone had just sprayed the board with WD-40 it was that bad! this is the parts i used (best prices i can find last 3 months as i dribbled things out...I need 14 of these) is the fan/X bracket heatsink/clean/small heatsinks/ hack works great ...10c to 15c die heat reduction in my case ..thou a lot of that may be due to cleaning..mostly the 3000 rpm fan (imho 20% more noise for 2x the airflow) here is a link of the best parts/places I've found https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1283859.msg15286157#msg15286157 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1283859.msg15286157#msg15286157) kinda off topic but it works slick for those in need of repaste/cleaning of cubes. |
