Title: Antminer s7 setup question Post by: Stepho on June 30, 2016, 02:09:44 PM Hello.
Just wondering about installation the antminer s7 with 4.73 Th/s Im about to buy one from Is it enough? And while you're mining could you get small peaces of bitcoins Or you have to get a full on And all forms say that you need a power supply Is it necessary to get one or i just can use a converter 220v to 12v Just for your information i dont pay for the electricity I live in an industrial are which electricity is for free Title: Re: Antminer s7 setup question Post by: leowonderful on June 30, 2016, 11:53:47 PM You probably aren't going to mine 1 whole bitcoin, but if your pool has manual withdrawal you can withdraw whole bitcoins at a time.
At this time, if you'd like a better deal than the S7, try the S7-LN. It offers less hashrate with the same efficiency, and tit includes a free psu, so you don't need to buy a converter or crap. Free electricity is good, nothing's free in this world, but if you do for now, go for it. If your looking to do something illegal... you won't find many who are willing to help. Hopefully I'm reading it the wrong way. Talking about payment, and not legal.... just jump's to all kinds of possible bad things. Care to expand on this? Have one question While you mining will you get a daily return As said in the profit calculator Or I have to wait to find a block Title: Re: Antminer s7 setup question Post by: philipma1957 on July 04, 2016, 10:27:36 PM Its just its not me who paying for it Have one question While you mining will you get a daily return As said in the profit calculator Or I have to wait to find a block okay. mining solo your chance of getting a block is around 2200 to 1 each day with an s-7 and the odds will most likely get worse. mining with a pool you earn a little piece every block the pool makes. depending on the pool you could let the coins sit and grow then move them when they get big. at todays odds an s-7 earns close to 0.011 btc or $7.40 usd a day. since your power is free I would suggest if you can get a good deal go for one s-7 and find a good psu. if you want a good psu read this and ask me any questions you have about getting this setup. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1373092.0 Title: Re: Antminer s7 setup question Post by: schematics on July 15, 2016, 06:27:40 AM Hello. This is usually what makes or breaks a deal. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0 is a good place to start. This is usually what makes or breaks a deal. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0 is a good place to start. A lot of times forum here is cheapest on used gear. It tends to be a hard audience to sell to if not priced very fair to cheap. I personally not long ago sold a S7 on ebay. The buyer got a decent deal, it was cheaper buying a new one. I do only sell to US though on ebay as it prevents dealing with custom's and keeps shipping reasonable. Depending on how new shipping is not horrible was my last S7 i sold and shipping was as fair as I could make it. Something like import tax/vat can be a big deal in Europe or other areas. So getting local markets as mentioned can save you a lot. But a lot of these places miners are higher then I would pay. Might think of hosting and shipping to an area without vat/taxes. All depends on how high it is. |
