Nope i dont think theres a chance to have refund even they have track the hashoceans owner well theres really nothing they can do now since HO completely gone, im pretty sure the owner using ip changer so they cannot been easily caught if someones trace them.

there's no point tracking the scammer's address because even you know where's the final address of funds,can't take control of it either,except someone would dox him,in other side someone just make a petition and forcy cyber police to catch them but i think it's such a waste of time,they'll not going give a response

The article is saying they were not a ponzi at all and they had all the data centers they told people they were using and these are real, one near St Francisko and one in Eastern Europe that FBI is ready to seize. That is really shocking to me. I just like many others here thought that these data centers were only imaginary but as per this news apparently they weren't. This explain their operation for so long. Let's see what happens next cause things are getting interested.

Hahaha that's right the scammers is making a troll email for every their users, but yesterday there is some people is believe with their troll email. I not sure they can track the scammer. I think real hacker will keep calm about this and not want to publish this.

Forget about your money friends I know it hurts but their is no chance that your money will be back . It hards to know now what is true happen in that ponzi .but surely they run your money and many investor who invest in it.

It is good to track down the hashocean operators but how they gonna do refund if they have already erased all their members info? This will be a really big question on how all users will get refund if those funds hashocean have gets back to hand of government. I think in that case government will just run another auction and sell all those coin cheap, which is unfair  >:( >:(

People may have lost their bitcoins, but this scammer should be arrested, a year ago had a scammer who created a HYIP site and stole a lot of money, but with the help of some hackers was possible to locate and arrest the fucking scammer, who is now in jail.

I remember that the scammer was creating false accounts on FB and sent emails to lie to investors ... It was because of the greed that it was possible to arrest this scammer, he created another site and this was his destruction.

This escammer who created hashocean will create another site and will be discovered and arrested because of their greed.

I think this same. HashOcean was classic Ponzi and there was not even one mining rig. Everything is fiction, and they will never be tracked.

Yep it does sound like a movie directed by Michael Bay aimed to be released on christmas season. But if you think about it how can this guys claim thatbthey received a bribe from hashocean to back off with thier plan to hack and identify the owners. First, how can hashocean know that a group of hackers is launching an attack on their system? How did they know who to contact and send a 3 second self destructing message. Too good to be true if you ask me.

The hackers said that HashOcean have already mining farms in the US and otherwise and they work on it to hack them, and they said it's not ponzi scheme..But in the other side they frankly claim that they can't refund HO investors

I think they cannot get those hackers because hashocean details from their website are all fake so better to dont expect that your investment can get refund.. the way that you can do right now is to find other way to earn bitcoin instead.

From a technical point, there's no relation between a domain name (hashocean.com) and it's datacenters ... but i guess if someone goes asking the initial domain registrar (before the domain got sold) for identity of the domain name buyer .. this would be a first step into identifying who's behind HO.

you mean the article and otehr hacker working on that are just bhogas nothing just and promotion stuff of there name and site .... I don't think so as around huge user lost money and in work some one will work to find that company and tryt o find it ..so this guys are trying to find out if they can find something about them ..so that all will get back there invested amount 

They maybe real or not thats not the point, the point is that they cannot do anything to Hashocean , they have 5750 Bitcoin in their wallet which at 99% is on a hardware wallet and no hacker can do anything to this kind of wallet, they can try finding who were behind Hashocean but how do we know that they just didn't give some money to someone to signup and buy the domain of hashocean.com for them. In Russia this can be easily done. So stop waiting for your money back, they will never come, move along.

Hahahaha.... I think your opinions is true all of their user's money is never to back for the owner, maybe if the hackers can tracking them and robbery the scammer amount. there is a chance the hacker will be next scammer. in bitcoin world is rarely to find someone,you can trust with him.

I think you must give us the proof for your statement, the OP make this thread with informations and you must do the same it will make us more information than just opinions.

We all know they are stealing the money and running away.  They are even making fake profiles and making it look like they are doing something good through a "straw" third party.  I have to ask the question though, where the heck did you come up with the "death" in prison information???  I am thinking a little far fetched.
