Finally I got a writing job in a website for bitcoin . which can earn me 0.5 to 0.7 btc A month..
I got this job after 1 year surviving and surfing in the bitcoin land and doing simple works and search for jobs every day.

and now I got what I want but. I feeel very fear because of the halving..

I am afraid that if bitcoin price increase to double in the halving then the company who paying me 0.5 btc month can reduce my salary.
and I really don't want that..
after so many days I got a chance to collect some bitcoins but halving is coming between me and my opportunity...

I am praying to GOD that halving may come next year. and till than I will collect 10 to 15 btc for sale..

what you guys think? do you also need time to collect bitcoins before halving? or you are just ready to halving in this month. (11 July 2016)?

Why would the Halving influence your salary? Did you settle for payment in BTC only? I would have fixed it to a less volatile currency like the dollar value, but still payable in BTC. You will have to brush up on your English, if you are going to write some for a English audience. ^smile^

The Halving cannot be postponed, it's fixed in stone in the Bitcoin protocol code. Uhhm, It can be changed, but you will not get anyone, who will want to do that, because it increases the value of bitcoins. ^hmmmm^

if you are so afraid of missing out on the price rise then you should invest money in it by buying bitcoin instead of sitting around and fearing of missing out.

Ready or not I'm not worrying about Bitcoin Halving.  It was designed that way so worrying will just stress you.  Besides, I don't think your salary will be cut to 50% once halving is done.  It not that they are mining to pay for your job. and that there is no way they can get Bitcoin but mining.  Bitcoin supply is there ready to be purchased.  So forget all your worries.  Halving won't affect you salary but the price do.

Yes. I'm getting payment in bitcoin only. BTW my boss didn't told me that he'll decrease my salary any time if bitcoin price increase. it is my own gut feelings that if bitcoin price cross to double than exist then i may loose my exist salary and get half of what I am getting right now.

If the bitcoin value doubles, then your bitcoin salary is cut in half, then you are making the exact same.

yes. but that's not what I need. My target is to get more bitcoin, not fiat.. I know If the bitcoin price go up to double than what the price is right now then I can still get the same amount in dollars only..
right now I am getting 0.5btc. and can done one bitcoin in 2 months. but after halving I may get 0.25 bitcoins and done 1 bitcoin in 4 months. that's what I feel bad.

What reduces your salary, if your salary is reduced cause halving maybe it will have a same equal with you salary before halving.
to collect bitcoin is always needed a time before. I not sure I ready for halving because only have a little amount of bitcoin. I think want to be a spectator if halving happens.

I understand that but all I am saying is that this way of thinking is not good. you shouldn't regret the past and why didn't get the job earlier. I say this because I am the same way and I sometimes regret why I didn't work more for bitcoin and earn more bitcoin back when bitcoin price was $200 but this will only prevent you from thinking about the future and making better plans with the current situation in mind.

Halvings are simply part of Bitcoin. If halvings weren't there it wouldn't be Bitcoin... I am more than ready for the halving. If you don't feel confortable with the halving because of your payments, then search for someone who is willing to pay you in Bitcoin and not in dollars converted to Bitcoin.

when price increases your salary decreases. but then if you compare your reduced rate in $ it will be same or their will be negligible difference. so no need to be sad. we are all very exciyed for the halving but only you have fear. so dont fear. price increase is very good for bitcoin's future.

You are fortunate enough compared to other people. You already had your time to earn with your job. I don't think your salary will be affected by halving though, I think it is even good for you, isn't it? Price rosed to 3x than its price previously. Great opportunity already.

i am ready for halving , first time on bitcoin i am waiting for that , till now no idea on halving , probably this time it may give ideas and i can learn on halving in practically . i heard somewhere it will increase bitcoin price , but not sure, need to wait and watch.

Well if you are paid with bitcoin rates and not USD, you shouldn't be bothered. If it is within your agreement that you should be paid in BTC without any USD conversions, you shouldn't have a problem. You will have something to keep if in case they change the rates if it is within your contract that you'll be paid in BTC.

you can always ask for the payment up front or use some kind of escrow service for the funds that you agree upon so that your enployer is forced to pay the same amount of bitcoin even if the price is changed.

why haven't you discussed this with the guy paying you? there should be some type of arrangement in place for this. and there's no guarantee there'll be any more price rise. maybe we've already had most of the action we were due.

Halving is just a process which will decrease supply so that increasing the value of existing bitcoin, this is good for bitcoin ecosystem and balance. If the company lowered your payment interms of bitcoin you will still get paid same amount if you compared it with payment. 0.50 btc x 700$ = 350$ per month is very good for writing job.

Praying to God is unlikely to cause the halving to be delayed until next year.  The halving is controlled by the protocol which is highly distributed.  Even though God is everywhere, and thus also highly distributed, he doesn't mess with the protocol too much.  So I'd say you're fucked buddy - you are going to get halved next week.  

Be happy you have a job and be ready to work twice as hard for half the pay.  You could get unemployed like so many others.  If you keeping fucking around on the internet instead of grinding doughnuts - or whatever your job is, you are going to get fired and your children will probably starve.  Your wife is going to start sleeping with another guy.  Get back to work!

Well, good luck with that. The halving coming next year would mean that hashing power drops dramatically within the next days, which would be an indication that the network may have serious health issues. So I wouldn't pray for that...

Since you just want to sell your Bitcoin for fiat junk money and are not genuinely interested in owning Bitcoin as a new, sound form of money, you should not fear the halving at all. I would assume that your employer pays you based on the fiat value of your services, so the block reward has no direct influence on your pay. The only relevant factor will be the fiat/btc exchange rate.

So if the BTC valuation in fiat junk money increases, you may be paid less BTC, but still the same amount in fiat. So there is nothing to fear for you.

I am not worrying about getting fiat. my calculation is about bitcoin. I said after 1 year surviving and struggling I god an opportunity to make some bitcoin. but if the halving effect my salary then I can't make btc at enough time. with the current salary I can make 1 bitcoin in 2 months.
that's what I mean.

lolz. how funny you are man. this is a long term job. and upfront only can be for one month. I wish I can ask for upfront for one year's payment but it seems not possible..

haha, i wish that happens too. that is if you mean delayed price rise. because i will come into some money soon that i would want to invest it right away and what is better than bitcoin, so i would love it if price stays the same for a little bit longer till i can buy bitcoin with it.

I think you will be paid good money in both ways, and I don't see a reason for you to feel insecure in any way. Halving will happen every 4 years, and that is the process, we can't change it. For next time you will have a lot of coins if you know how to keep them and maybe even multiply them in next 4 years.
Better focus your mind on that task and you will not be afraid from this year halving results.
Many of us will not have that kind of work ever, so enjoy in what you have, and try to do something smart with that bitcons.

Lol. You make me fun OP. They will decrease the amount of btc it is just the same proce in fiat. So nothing lose. Only just a number. But the value is just the same. So dont be afraid in halving. :)

you were talking about that halving should not done this year. but now you will be happy that halving imposed a positive effect of bitcoin. i think halving was due it was to be held in the same year.

Yeah halving is already done and its good to see that price is rising and didn't fall back, so we can expect that this halving will have positive impact on price in coming days.

If you're fearful of BTC rising so sharply, then it sounds like you could mitigate some of your risk by putting some fiat in BTC right now. At the end of the day although, you will have the same amount of money if BTC goes up and they lower the amount they pay you.

The next halving will take place in 2020. So you've got enough time to buy or earn BTC until then. The halving did not immediately change the Bitcoin price as many of us expected (not me). It is going to be seen in time, after months or years. I am 99% sure we'll see a historic price record for Bitcoin in the next year. Yes, the halving does increase BTC's value, but it's not that noticeable for now.

As far as I know, bitcoin has a purpose. if the halving doesn't occur, for sure, the value of bitcoin will go down. Since there will be an oversupply  of bitcoin in the world and as the law of supply and demand says, the greater the demand the higher the price and the greater the supply over demand the lower the price.

So now you can see that you shouldn't have been worrying. Bitcoin is $670 which is almost the same price which was in 1 of July, so they shouldn't reduce your salary.
