is this the pre halving effect ? we are at 688$ from 630$ in 2-3 days i think so. what do you think ? i think we will see a big pump again very soon. the bull is ready to run now.

The thing is no one here can really predict what's going to happen next.
I hope to see a constant, healthy rise within the next coming months and think we could see the $1000 at the end of this year.
Maybe it won't be on a stabile basis, that could need another few more months.
On the other hand I could be completely wrong and we will see a crazy bull run up to a new ATH followed by a mega dump and consolidation around $800-$1000 as the new bottom.Who knows, who knows.

i don't know this is pre halving effect or something else but as long the prices still rising day by day it doesn't matter for me even though the movement looks very slow and i'm hoping to see a big pump again soon too

yes, i think that "This" rise is because of the halving and the hype it has brought to us.

but to say anything about the continuation of this rise would be a tough thing to say because i am afraid there might be a dump before the big rise.

I think there were some people who were gutted when the price fell from $750 to $630, and who will be watching and selling immediately the price rises back up. It is only once all those who "bought high" have sold and cleared out, that bitcoin can make it's next dash up.

Well if the price is increasing slowly i am thinking that i am making a profit its simple.. but i think the price will increase more so more patience is the best to do right now..

Price will be even higher at halving, so I think holding our coins now is the right thing to do, and its really good to see price movement in positive direction and now we can expect good news at halving.

And price will continue to be higher even after the day of halving. Even with the expected dumps that will follow any significant rise in price, the general trend will still be upwards. I'm already looking forward to the halving after this one, as weird as that sounds.

Yeah right more grow more price increase will happen after halving we already see the effect even the block halving still not done yet.. the price should be rise because according to halving our source of bitcoin per block will be half from 25 btc to 12.5 btc so it means the price should be double..

If  it gets doubled then its well and good but even if it doesn't gets doubled then also it should be reached to descent price where people can earn good profits.

I agree with the last part of what you wrote, that the bull is ready to run.  I don't think this is or even should be an effect of the upcoming halving.  This is a market consisting of tons of people who've known about it for a long time.  Why should the price spike?

I personally think It's panic buying due to halving block reward , some people are afraid for being late for the train so they are buying at the moment. I could be wrong though

Ah, well I think any rise is great (obviously) but it may just be people coming very late to the party. I bought most of my coins at $500CAD or under so with us being 1.8x above that I really don't care about small fluctuations at this point. Let's hope for consistent rises at this point though.

It exactly be panic buying, because I can't seem to find any additional information about this sudden rise. There is no bitcoin news to back this surge.
One news that is maybe responsible for this situation is recent announcement that bitcoin will become "People’s Right" in China and will have legal backup of Government.

I think the price will not going up highly now, it need some weeks after the next halving , in my opinion, but in the same time, it's expected that the Bitcoin's price will increase without any doubt

Yeah, the price is increasing the process is slow but it will boost up within a few days, when the halving will be only to happen, at that time everyone will buy bitcoins.

Supply shrinks relative to demand, so the price goes up. However, that isn’t exactly how the halving works. The actual supply will not decrease, rather, the rate of growth will slow. The supply, the amount of coins in existence, will still grow continuously. Thus, there is nothing about the halving to lead us to say with certainty that demand will outstrip supply and send the price soaring.

A slow price increase would be actually the best thing that could happen (from a bullish perspective). Because that would build confidence in the actual price levels and so the hands would not be that weak than after an ultra-bullish spike like in June.

Nevertheless, I think we will see some volatility around the halving date. It is possible that there will be a pump up into the 750+ region and a double top near the June high of 775-85. If this occurs, then my guess is that in the aftermath of the halving event there will be another correction into the 550-580 USD level or even lower (but not lower than 410 USD).

But if, against my prediction, the slow climb can continue, then I see a more bullish perspective: then there could be a little rally after the halving event, up to even 900-990 USD. For more than 1000 there is too much uncertainty in the community because of the recent new block size discussions and ETH.

i also think we'll see a nice rally in the last days before the block halving. the entire market is waiting for something to happen. if there is no such a thing as a rally before the halving, then i'm quite sure a dump will happen directly after the halving as people will get disappointed.

We can never predict what would happen after a few days as we can noticed the price is still has a high fluctuation and it is changing with just an hour sometimes it goes down and up and it is not always a big pump also it has a big dump of its price . But yes it is climbing up slowly .

I think it is still underuse.

Price is destined to go 1000+ soon, but the big ass whales are using all of their potential to keep the price under 700 to keep stacking slowly. A lot of people is going to lose their money when they think the price will correct, but it will keep going up so shorters will burn.

are you asking what do i think about seeing the slow rise? i love it.

i think it is so much better to have a very slow and stable rise over a longer period of time and become stable rather than a sudden big rise over a short time (burst) and then fall right afterwards.

yes slow and stable price is much better for bitcoin instead of big pump and big dump to follow
i want to see this price stable between 650-800$ after halving so the price will be beneficial

Quiet agree. As usual if there's a sudden rise, expect a sudden decrease too. It's really present everytime there is a price trend.

For the big whales, it's easy to make a panic when there is sudden event whether to increase or to decrease.

Anyways back to topic, slow rise is a good sign of building resistance, at least in my own view. In this, price are on test if it can hold and maintain it's respective level.

I think for bitcoin the price rise slowly and gradually is much better with that the process will continue for longer and no one will sell all of their coins and so bitcoin will  get more fame within that period as no one will leave it and more and more people will adopt it for profit.

thats true, in my opinion it is really great to see such price, though i doubt that we will see it during the halving because theres still long time to go to such heights i think

the price of the bitcoin is climbing slowly at the moment though i dont know if it is going to reach 800 during the halving, i think 750 dollars would be surely enough

Most of you are setting yourselves up for an epic fail on the day of halving. Instead of a rocket to the moon, you are going to see a HUGE CRASH on that day. Chinese whales are already prepping for major sell-outs before, on the day of, and after July 9th. It's a great time to sell right now.

lets have some serious questions here, it is just the standard movement of the coin and everyone knows that, it is the ebb and flow of the crypto at its age

Climbing up slowly is way better than daily pump and dumps. Those sharp rises and falls are ruining bitcoin. Nobody in the right mind would stay in bitcoin is those sharp moves happen a lot. I guess we can't do anything about it tho, market depth is too low for that.

There are sudden changes in Bitcoin price for couple of weeks.I don't see any connection between these movements in market and halving.I have been watching for long time but what halving can do is different story.Bitcoin needs secure network which is done by mining which also move the transactions.Mining will be profitable after halving only if price remain above $ 360 per Bitcoin.This means current changes have no relation and is pure speculation and manipulation by whales.

Yeah stable price rise is always better in compare to major pump and dump and it also an positive indication that price will be higher in coming years.
