What's your mining rig(s) to start mining? Title: Re: .08kwh Post by: philipma1957 on July 03, 2016, 03:44:24 PM 8 cent power makes a profit with the newest gear the s-9 once you sell it in 6 to 10 months
4 cent power is really good. should be really sure to profit and 8 cent power is not quite exspensive I think you could or may profit 20 cent power = death to profit 8 cent power = maybe a profit? below are some possible projections of what the s-9 will do one with 8 cent power one with 4 cent power https://i.imgur.com/a1GUWYu.png https://i.imgur.com/vK5zeXz.png Title: Re: .08kwh Post by: algomaspur on July 03, 2016, 04:02:25 PM that is awesome also I have a meter that monitors my kWh right off of my power line coming out of my breaker box into the house then it sends the data via WiFi to my unit. I am able to see in real time how much I am burning electricity. I have been adjusting all the lights and everything that was sucking power 24/7 from children. Now every device I turn off I can see how much each is using in electricity. If you guys want one they are only like 160 dollars I will put a link in the description. Anyway I figure that eliminating all of the blood suckers throughout the house that my bitcoin miners can use the power that I was using to light the house up for nobody. Also I live in north Idaho so I put my ant miners underneath my thermostat because we pretty much have 8 months of winter, and they will help keep from the thermostat kicking on all the time. I don't know if all of these cost savings will help but we will see. Title: Re: .08kwh Post by: unholycactus on July 03, 2016, 10:24:11 PM There are a lot of other costs involved unless you can just flip a switch to get miners running.
It also depends on how efficient your miners are. 0.08USD would be too much for me, even with the most recent miners. It looks like the block reward is set to 25 in those images you posted. I then bumped it a hair to 380 usd I kept all numbers in cash usd. Doing long term projections is my art and feel then pure science. who the f really knows the actual price in 10 days 25 days 50 days 100 days. and who the f really knows the diff numbers I guessed 4%. long term diff over the next year could be 2% 4% 6% 8% maybe a negative. once again who the f knows. But if you are at 8 cent power 1 s-9 could earn a profit. Yeah difficulty has pretty much always been a tough variable to predict. It's even tougher now that most companies keep their new devices a secret. |
