Hi, I'm looking for suggestion. Is it worth to invest into altcoins before halving? I'm not talking about investments into various shitcoins. Or it's would be better to wait until halving and after it react to following situation?

Couple month ago i have made Investment on alt coin and i have sold out them, but today i don't do it because i wait until halving block of bitcoin and see price of bitcoin. if it going up i will buy alt coin again and if it going down i just make Investment on bitcoin only. I make Investment on ethereum. It is just my experience.

I am out of altcoin for now
just hold some btc and wait for halving hype
if the btc price not hit my target iw ill buy some new promising altcoin

for this time a lot of people is interested into bitcoin to invest their money on them but I can give suggestion maybe you can see on the market what the coin have a good future. and you not worried to invest on them. all of the people is trying out from alt coin on this period and fall into bitcoin because only a few days till halving time is coming.

I believe we've seen most of the price action re the halving now. we'll see the real action once the market has digested its effects which may be many months.

If there's an alt you believe in then go for it. If you bet right bitcoins potential upside is pathetic in comparison.

my opinion, we must invest in alt coins before halving happens, because at that time (like now) btc price is keep rising, and its affected the price of most alt coins dropped, so we can buy alt coins with cheaper price.

i can confidently say that almost all of the altcoins have nothing to do with bitcoin and bitcoin price. which means bitcoin block reward halving and any price changes in bitcoin will have almost no effect on their prices.

although there has been a couple of coins that were affected with bitcoin price in the past like Litecoin, Dogecoin and on some random occasions Ethereum but there is no rule for any of them.

It would be nice to hear more opinions. What other members think? Ho do you think halving will affect market of altcoins?

Bitcoin going sideways = alts going up

Bitcoin going up = alts going down

Bitcoin going down = alts going sideways

currently people has waiting for the halving and i thought they were holding bitcoin and not so often to trade altcoins however if you want to invest on the particular altcoins why not just invest your money for ICO coin might be this is good options but i would not guarantee you will get advantages from that because all kind of investment always be have risk

If they keep on falling there is no point in doing so  ;D

Since Halving is a predictable event, shouldn't the bitcoin price be already corrected ?

I stick with bitcoin because I can't tell what will happen with altcoins. Some do well for a while and then drop and never recover.

Don't do it.  Just wait.  There's no reason not to wait, is there?  And the altcoin market right now is looking as bearish and risky as I've seen it.  You could lose everything you put in, easily.

lol how can you say that the one who saying that the halving will affect the price of the bitcoin is stupid ??? I think you're wrong because i believe on them because that's very true that the halving will affect for the price of the bitcoin because the stocks of bitcoin will be fewer and it will possibly cause for a huge pump for the price. Almost of the users of bitcoin are holding their bitcoin for this incoming bitcoin halving and i don't think that they are stupid because they just believing for the effect of halving ::).

I think the best time to buy altcoins will be the next 2 or 3 days after the halving. I believe ,in this period the price of btc will go up due to excitement and speculation.  The real mystery for me are the following weeks after the 1/2ing.

I agree usually the price of bitcoin is going up few days before or after halving and it's a good chance for altcoin traders to buy a lot of coin on an altcoin exchange site. If they buy altcoin with high rate of bitcoin in the same time they can save a lot of bitcoin by doing it because if the price of bitcoin is high the rate of price of the altcoins are very low and they just need to wait for the price of bitcoin to go down a little bit so their altcoin can adjust to rise up to the moon ;D.

Investing in altcoins can give you great profit, the problem is that there are too many altcoins - who can say which altcoin is the right one ? Nowadays you can invest in altcoin, if you know altcoins market very well both short term & medium term.  ;)

Its not a good idea that you invest your bitcoin right now in altcoin block because after block halving the price of bitcoin will increase more..

i would say hold on to the bitcoin because the future will bring nice things for the bitcoin and that is not a joke because there will happen
allot to the bitcoin in the year 2020 there are allot of people speculating about that.

I dont think it is very clever of you to invest into the altcoin because the altcoin wont rise allot you know and you are stupid because
the halving wont affect the price of the biotcoin only the miners will cause trouble with it.

Maybe halving won't affect price of altcoins, we only can predict. But are you trying to say that people, who thinks that bitcoin price after halving will grow is stupid? Well, that means that big part of this community is stupid.
IMO,  bitcoin price after halving won't rise to the moon. It will be slow process and price will slowly rise in long months.

That's right bitcoin price will not rise to the moon instantly because it will face problems first like price drop after that event because just what like other members expect that most of the user's mindset is to just sell their coins after halving because they only know that it's only the right time to secure their profits.

Yes for investing purposes I think altcoins are the best thing to invest and trading of altcoin is also the best thing to invest, altcoin is the market where you can earn more then 10x of your investment and it will provides you a good profit also,

but if for me suppose I invest in bitcoin and when I buy it at high price, and after that bitcoin price goes down, I do not want to risk to buy or invest it on other altcoin, I do not dare to take kepuyusan which in the end will be wrong and makes me regret it, so I will keep and hold my bitcoin until the price will rise even higher again.

Altcoin does give a big profit compared to bitcoin, but the risks of investing in bitcoin are much lower.

It may be better to invest in bitcoin before halving but as altcoins follows bitcoin investing in a altcoin can give more profit but it depends.
