Title: Re: scammed by free-bit.co.in Post by: altcoinhosting2 on July 04, 2016, 08:28:01 AM Yeah I know its my fault, I give the account first, because I trust him, I learned something new. here is my proof. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1527784.msg15452650#msg15452650 https://s31.postimg.org/6smup0idn/image.png https://s31.postimg.org/bfswqs5qj/image.jpg https://s31.postimg.org/ix245zv9n/image.jpg 12 hours passed still no payment. theirs any chance to ban this person? Scammers aren't banned on this forum, they're given red trust by DT... Altough it seems very odd that somebody with green trust would scam for $60. On the other hand, he's still a member. I have no idear how much his account would be worth, given the positive trust he got from a DT member. BTW: this is the account of free-bit.co.in : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=341170 BTW2: it would be nice if you followed this scam report format: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0 Title: Re: scammed by free-bit.co.in Post by: mynameiskevin on July 04, 2016, 09:06:49 AM Yeah I know its my fault, I give the account first, because I trust him, I learned something new. here is my proof. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1527784.msg15452650#msg15452650 https://s31.postimg.org/6smup0idn/image.png https://s31.postimg.org/bfswqs5qj/image.jpg https://s31.postimg.org/ix245zv9n/image.jpg 12 hours passed still no payment. theirs any chance to ban this person? Title: Re: scammed by free-bit.co.in Post by: Posum578 on July 04, 2016, 09:20:21 AM That why i dont agree with giving green trust for low rank member
Even he use that account for scam, he can easy to create new one and make it member and doing some exchange again with DT member and voila he has green trust again And voila scam other person again Title: Re: scammed by free-bit.co.in Post by: zottejos on July 04, 2016, 09:26:00 AM This seems to be the estimated value of such an account (light green member):
http://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/?token=m5tr6ptp => 0.03426638BTC ~$22 at current preev rate. I hope it's all just a misunderstanding, but it does look his account is worth less than the sum you sent him :( Title: Re: scammed by free-bit.co.in Post by: mynameiskevin on July 04, 2016, 09:35:43 AM This seems to be the estimated value of such an account (light green member): http://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/?token=m5tr6ptp => 0.03426638BTC ~$22 at current preev rate. Title: Re: scammed by free-bit.co.in Post by: mrhelpful on July 04, 2016, 08:25:48 PM I dont know how many times it said on this forum, but escrow is the only way to go.
You choose without any reputable escrow person that can act like a third party then you will find these situations too often. The beauty of escrow is esp with digital products / if it was bad - then you show the proof of the escrow holder so they know whats going on. As my old HDD died and there was all login info for steam and gmail (changed to new ones, not his old ones) I can't access that steam account. You should definitely contact steam support to retrieve your account. I didn't want to scam anyone or had any intentions of scamming. Again, I'm sorry for the problems I caused you.
