Hi guys i have a question.
Does anyone really mines Dogecoin? i cant imagine it,it is worth almost nothing,i would say it is a waste of time
Anyone can explain me this?

Doge is merged mined with Litecoin so scrypt asic farms can mine both as same time if they want...... GPU mining is not profitable at all

The bulk of Doge is merge-mined from something else (probably Litecoin for the most part) any more.

 Been that way for several months, perhaps a year - I forget when Doge moved to "mergeable" offhand.

That was about 1 year and half ago when the block reward of Doge dropped a lot and it was unsafe to mine it separately.

I considered mining this recently and i thought about buying back into it as well but it doesnt seem to have the same following it once did,  mining it sure isn't as profitable as other coins and if you look at the numbers on trex theres only about 50btc or less buying support.  I wonder if  doges days are numbered.
