Title: Mistaken for "Morocco.Man" Post by: Alanay on July 04, 2016, 10:29:36 PM I just came back on BitcoinTalk after a while, to see somebody made a post about me. The post actually confused me to be honest, but I think "Timelord2067" is trying to say I'm a confirmed alt of "Morcco.Man". That guy scammed for for £30 or £35 I can't remember. He showed me proof of WU payment and so I repped him. Now I know I should have waited until I had money in hand before repping and releasing escrow.
I still have the guy on Skype and every so often ask him if he's willing to talk to me. His Skype is: keatingzby.ltd Here is the post where "Timelord2067" mistakes me for "Morcco.Man". https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1206112.msg14577729#msg14577729 You can also view this thread where 4 days before the above post "Timelord2067" asked me for any aliases. I did not reply because I was busy getting everything arranged to travel to another country. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433893.msg14500877#msg14500877 How is this guy actually allowed to confirm me as one of his alt's without any actual evidence. I am willing to show all Skype logs. Is there a quick way to copy all my conversations with him? EDIT: After reading it again I think I did get confused and he is actually talking about "roni80" who scammed me as being one of the alts of "Morcco.Man". Sorry for this thread if this is the case, it's late and I'm tired. Sorry for this thread if this is the case, it's late and I'm tired. I've just come across this thread and will respond here. My mistake in thinking you were an Alt of morocco.man came from your post: alanay sold me bitcoin for money in western union very good communicator and easy transaction thanks Yes thank you for the trade. Proof of payment: https://blockchain.info/address/1Drk3WHHECJg78UhWKyzxu1d42Yrbswfzg Very smooth and fast transaction The Wallet Address 1Drk3WHHECJg78UhWKyzxu1d42Yrbswfzg is part of Wallet [0f3e444d82] https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/0f3e444d82e17317/addresses There are 32 Wallet Addresses: Code: 1JhB1bKwDLuw6F7q8aZ2isPuTV6nYwg9V 0.00037485 1214 410721 The very top one used 1JhB1bKwDLuw6F7q8aZ2isPuTV6nYwg9V is identified as morocco.man here: http://archive.is/PuGOw http://archive.is/PuGOw#selection-1161.0-1160.4 http://archive.is/IFzNm http://archive.is/n5jaK Alt of morocco.man , marcos258 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=550375) morocco.man / marcos258's address : 1JhB1bKwDLuw6F7q8aZ2isPuTV6nYwg9V deal done, buy some btc from marcos258. thanks :) https://blockchain.info/tx/a2758e76ef6791eb147a63444c7eb2f6e78e895bdad087c2852c4ca5a64a185e (https://blockchain.info/tx/a2758e76ef6791eb147a63444c7eb2f6e78e895bdad087c2852c4ca5a64a185e) done next small amount deal with @marco258 , his btc , my pp all smooth, thanks https://blockchain.info/tx/fa3d48042aca9b32203adcf375575735ba52219c45a11a3bb0469d2d44f8b9a8 (https://blockchain.info/tx/fa3d48042aca9b32203adcf375575735ba52219c45a11a3bb0469d2d44f8b9a8) I had inadvertently assumed by you posting the Wallet Address 1Drk3WHHECJg78UhWKyzxu1d42Yrbswfzg that your post was saying that you owned that wallet. Around the same time there has been a spate of Alt's giving vouches for other Alt's including posting transaction TX's so I assumed that Alanay was doing the same. Your very next post where you claim that you had been scammed by roni80 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=812811 WU will not let me take the payment until he confirms it with his bank. Which he claimed to do but did not show me proof. at the time seemed to be a way for a Alt to cover their tracks (which has happened with some other user's Alt's being discovered) You never responded in your own thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433893.0 to my asking for information concerning the scam accusation: I've just come across this message and am sorry to hear you were hit by serial pest morocco.man - are you able to post any email addresses or alias' used? Phone numbers or any other markers that can be tied to the person? Went unanswered and around that time you went offline for an extended time (again, the assumption was an Alt had ditched an exposed user account). I again would like to state: I misread a transaction and therefore incorrectly said that Alanay was an Alt of morocco.man - There is no evidence that connects Alanay to any other BTC user. I would also like to state that Alanay did not contact me directly, nore respond to my open message yesterday for more information from him/her. Title: Re: Mistaken for "Morocco.Man" Post by: Alanay on July 06, 2016, 12:59:56 PM Here is my main address which I rarely use now: 1AP1xXnDYb1GVshdkDREzmrvZ1A12tqsNy
If you see a £35 transaction to another address then that would have been the one to 'roni80'. If not I must have used a previous address. I didn't reply to your messages because I was on holiday, and had already made the money back and then some through gambling. So I guess I just forgot about it and didn't care enough to investigate. One thing I would you like to say to anyone who will be receiving WU in exchange for any crypto-currency is that DON'T release the escrow until you have cash on hand. He was able to scam me by showing proof of payment, but the money hadn't come out of his bank as they require confirmation. So I was fooled and sent him the BTC as soon as I saw he "paid" for it Title: Re: Mistaken for "Morocco.Man" Post by: kittikat on July 13, 2016, 02:29:18 PM You look Innocent of the claims, good luck on innocent claim.
