That's why accounts shouldn't be used as collateral. Some DT members tag the account, some put a neutral, some don't do anything. But it's as risky as accepting an unstable altcoin as collateral; don't.

It might be unfair to the lender but it makes sense to do so when looking at the big picture. Someone defaulted a loan, and the account is transferred; now, it's known all around that the account will be sold and some people would neg rep the account just for that.

No,it would not be negged,provided you don't have to tell anyone that the account defaulted the loan.You don't have to openly sell the account which defaulted the loan.You need to have the signed messages from the previous owner that the account belongs to you incase of loan default.Worst case,your account will be tagged as neutral by the DT members,which makes it price =="worthless".Also,don't take accounts as collateral as most of the times either they are ditching the account or performing a bigger scam before ditching it.Zero tolerance policy is followed in such cases.

This is one reason why people decide to scam. People always threatening to neg them instantly after they take a loan and are late by a bit. Maybe he should have asked for another extension, but whatever.. Late > Never.

You got a This use password was reset recently in your profile as I have seen your other thread also, I was about to loan you 0.015 BTC as I understand that you are willing to give as collateral your account and that is the maximum amount your amount is worth for. However that yellow sentence on your profile when I click the trust button is a big no for me. If you really need the loan you need to provide a signed message from an address of yours that you have used quite some time before this password reset happened.

You need to provide as collateral, 120% value of the amount you are asking, as no collateral, no loan the simple rule in here.

this is the reason why this community is full of scammers, just because you failed to pay you have to scam? no one threatens you unless you keep your words and never make promises this community has a lot of helpful members but due to the fact that scammers are everywhere lenders tend to be inpatient cause they made a promise and that promise of payment never happened.. so you cant blame others its online dude everyone is cautious. If the lender is patient enough he can or he may be able to extend it but if its extended and still not paid then what else should be done?

Mistakes from my side :

- Failed to repay on time
- Gave many times a date but failed

Mistakes by Kingofswing :

- Messaged me 100 times ( but not a big issues )

- Tried to sell my account while it was on collateral

- Changed my signature without even asking me !

- Made some useless posts even without informing me !

That posting using the borrowers collateral is not good, even in real life a collateral will remain inside a vault untouched untill such tims that there is a need to dispose the account to recover the invested money
