The reward for miners becomes half, so less new coins to the market and everybody expects the price to double.

No one knows what will happen. Some say that the price will rise, others say that the price rises but only a year later, and the rest say that the price will fall whether as a result miners, less benefits and they will go out of business and will sell your Bitcoins.

The price has to increase for the miners to profit.

Halving mean half of supply at the market. In the case of bitcoin halving mean half of bitcoins at the market in the same amount of time compared to now. So if now enter at the market 25 bitcoin every 10 minutes (approx) after halving (after about two-three days) will be 12.5 every ten minutes (approx). This amount will be the production of bitcoin after this halving (will be aothers in the future and there were others before). According to the economic law of supply-demand the price of bitcoin will go up (must be so).

i just think so,the price already increased, there's no point expecting another price rising, the miners just got the same or maybe a little bit higher profit like when they're still mining bitcoin at the 300$ price, just fair enough for now, maybe another price rising will come but not going to rise that much

There was a steady increase in the price of Bitcoin in the buildup to this event, but we are not sure if this was because of the event or possibly Brexit or other factors. All speculations are being based on the theory that if the supply of something is halved, the price for that item or commodity should go up. We are not sure if this is going to happen or not, but it's looking much better than 1 year ago. ^smile^

Halving just means reward per block will be halved from current 25 bitcoin per block to 12.5 bitcoin to rewards. And there is lot more speculation that bitcoin price will pumped because supply will be limited but we don't have to forget about there is already good supply of bitcoin currently circulating, only production rate of new bitcoin is halved. Price can go either down or up, hard to predict.

In the latest having,  75% of the coins will have already been mined. In the next halving, 87.5% of the coin is in circulation.

Anybody saying a price rise is guaranteed is lying, but it's very likely the price will rise over the next year. A big whale could crash the price by dumping tens of thousands of coins, although it's not probable if waiting for a rise would get a better price.

a whale is not a brainless human. a whale is someone with a lot of money and a lot of experience in investment and in bitcoin market who has been investing in bitcoin to make a big profit.

so do you really think what you said is even possible?!

although they do temporary dumps in small sizes to create temporary panic in order to buy more cheap coins at the bottom but they will never dump tens of thousands of coins, you should be an idiot to do that!

I am agree with your opinion, because bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, and all cryptocurrencies have same situation like up and down in price. But it is depend on us how we handle our investment or trading. A huge people are using the bitcoins and get profit, so when some crash will be happened with bitcoin in future than of course people will handle it.

I think the bitcoin price will rise a lot in the next several years. However, I do not like a big bubble to form.

I think you dont need to wait because the price will increase this following months..
Bitcoin price right now is gradually increasing and i think we will see the price will increase more soon,

For me, I will hold the bitcoin for the long term. So I do not care about the price in the next few months.

Bubble will certainly form because marketcap is not big for cryptos and lots of big guys have invested in bitcoin and are trading them daily. Creating pump and dump with so much manipulation. But the one who can make right move according to whale movement will win much than those who keep holding till price get pumped so much and become stable at high price.

the right choice, if you previously hold for halving, but halving brought no change in price and better still hold, because of the effect of halving it for the long term.

in fact after halving the price does not rise. but I see from the history of halving earlier. indeed it will not increase immediately and increased after a few months later. so let's wait until the end of this year, I'm sure the price will increase.

The bitcoin price rose more than 200% in the last 12 months. I think halving contributed 50% of the rise.
