I have tried betting on basketball, the NFL, soccer and baseball with mixed results. I am curious which sport has made you a consistent winner in sports bets. And why do you think you're a winner in that sport? Are some sports easier to handicap than others?

Well, i think all of kind sports have same chance to win and you're need luck too. Personally i think tennis, because i was made parlay  5 matchs in tennis with total odds 7, and won.

Nfl is by far the hardest for many. The books know everything about every
team and are very accurate making a line.

I like small conferences in college hoops. The games dont get much action and
if you follow local beat writers on twitter and local school blogs you can find edges
to exploit. (I like the big west conference and the Maac)

I think any kind of sport can be profitable if you are real follower of this sport ,  sure football has the higher number of followers , but some sports can be easier to predict , like vollyball and handball . In the last two years the differences between football club teams and nation teams have been reduced , whereas we watch nameless teams compete and sometimes beat greater teams , the same happen in the nation competitions , the last surprise was Wales in the Euro , this case causes a lot of losses for gamblers , but in other sports that rarely happen .

The one you follow mostly, and you know mostly. Even that doesn't make sport betting 100 % safe, just to be clear, but for sure you have more chances if you know more about sport you betting, teams and players that play, their history.
I know people that bet on statistics, they don't follow sport games, they just take a look in statistics history and from that they chooses on what to bet.
I like to bet on football mostly, basketball and tennis sometimes, but I put bets on other sports when I see something interesting for my taste.

In think the esports game league of legends is fairly easy compared to what I have seen due to the high odds and limited choices. You may want to give that a try. There is a thread opened by a good tipster if you like.

you will find the various answers here because i think it all depends on your skill for predict the particular matches because some people like to placing their bets for soccer matches and some of them also prefer to bets for basketball or tennis matches because they have skill to do so however i personally betting for soccer matches are profitable than other sports because i do like to watching soccer matches

i kinda thought the whole point of sport was that there was no way of knowing who was gonna win. obviously the odds are often stacked against the underdog if you know your stuff. personally i only bet on games that i've fixed. that's the future.

I also would suggest you tennis, cause in the end it mostly satys Djokovic and Rafa. So bet on one of them and your chances are gonna be like 50/50 cause of they are both same stron in that game.

Yeah I agree with you I also ever gamble with the odds were great with over 10 games parlay and the odds around @5 I bet on a great player like Nadal, Federer, jokovic, etc, and the possibility of winning is very big because there was no draw or serie. only to lose or win

I think it can be determine by the team's performance before. So if you just compared it you'll notice some of the difference that make the other team lose and the other team advantage to win. That's why we have different analyst that give their point of views too like boxing analyst.

I think this is not like this that some sports are easier to win (bet) than other's,it depend's what on yourself actually.
If you know team's,score's,matches etc.you can predict it probably good but without knowledge about it,you wont be profitable without luck ahha :D

Short answer - the one you are good at predicting the score.

Longer answer - there is no ideal and 'the best' sport for sportbetting. You won't win every time and always profit. Upsets will happen from time to time.
If you are afraid of losing then play only with low odds bets. Your win/lose ratio will be probably very high then.

Not in the last 2 years only , in actually , from more than five years , we have watched a small teams win , you should not forget about Liecester which won the Premier league , also Atletico Madrid in Spain , PSG in France wasn't big team , that confirms that football map is changing and no longer guaranteed bet on any match .

Not to mention Cavs over GS. Lol. Underdog bets really won big from that scenario. But then again, this statistics can help at most as a guide. They don't offer assurance as to who would win etc.

in my experience it doesn't matter which sports you are choosing for betting as long as you don't know that particular sport and the teams you are making a bet on.
but if you know a particular sport and "you like that sport" then you can have a much better chance of winning.

It depends per person and per game. For me personally soccer is the sport i watched the most so i only make bets on soccer matches like the EUR0 2016.
Knowing which team plays and their history, injuries and most important opponent makes it relatively easy to bet on the right team. With 4 bets during EURO i've made .45 BTC.

College football (American football) is easiest. The reason why is because there is very much less parity among the teams that are scheduled/forced to play against each other. Meaning that weaker teams often have to play stronger teams.

Teams vie to play in the big bowl games at the end of the year. The bigger bowl games bring more money and prestige to those schools that play in them. Getting to play in the bowl games is based on overall rankings. Because there are so many teams and not enough weeks in the season, the better teams don't always play against each other during the regular season. Because of this, teams not only have an incentive to win against whoever they play, but to win as big as possible even if they are playing a weak team. That means scoring as many points as possible even when the game is in hand.

That's why you see, for example, Alabama Crimson Tide favored to win over Our Lady of Mercy School by +40 points, but you know they will win by at least 50 points if not 60. The Alabama coach will see the betting line and that his team is favored by 40 points, so he will purposely win by more than 50 points to exceed expectations. That's how things are. I kid you not.

Almost every week in College football(American football) there are at least 10 to 12 or more good picks from all the games available.

For me i prefer betting on basketball(nba) its the only sport which made me a decent profit so far while im struggling to win on esports and soccer its very unpredictable.

I like betting on esports. Counterstrike is no so easy the game can change so quickly but then again so can it with legue of legends and dota2 where a team could almost lose then pull through carry their team and steal the win right in front of the other teams face. I would have to say I like betting on dota2 and other MOBA games I find after playing for over 10 years I now grasp a firm understanding on the winners. I also study and understand the players weakness and strength.

Soccer is undisputed the best sports to win and bet at, there are almost 100 games going on all the time with soccer which no other sports can offer you. Moreover you can bet on over/under goals when you know attack/ defense of a team.

My choice is football, most game's, so many different bets we can bet on. Always some league's and championship's over the year.
Plus I like to watch football games, and I have my favorite teams, watch their progress through the year. All that make football the most easiest to bet on in my case.
I like to watch tennis and basketball, and occasionally I put some bet on that sport's also.

If you dont take favorites into account then just about any 2 team sport is a 50/50 chance you will win.

Try betting on something other than soccer or cricket,  those 2 seem to always be fixed, boxing is probably not much better.

All kind of sports have equal chance to make profit but it depend on experience and based on playing teams abilities what they can do into that match, I am betting on different of sports soccer, cricket, basketball and sometimes on boxing and martial arts too.

Every sports has got the same risk of earning and losing, its upon the information and other knowledge one know about particular event, sports and the players involved in it.

What is my experienced of seeing easy way though there is none, is soccer and cricket I found best. It may be cause of having good knowledge and interest in these sports games. You simply just can not make money on based of luck in these games. You need luck but just to support you by putting some small input into your effort to make money.

I've been playing this for more than 15 years, and i have to say that there is no such thing as easiest sport to win. I think its best if you put more than one or two sports on your ticket. I like to combine number of goals in soccer with tennis(win 1-2), basketball(+- final score), darts, hokey etc.

Nothing like that actually.It depends on you knowledge about the teams or the game you're betting on.Like it is easy to predict Turkey vs Germany but not France vs Germany.SO finally it just comes upto your knowledge and maybe luck I may add.On a side note,I felt Cricket bets are easier to predict and win since the results can be easily found out by the teams playing against each other.

TO me, im betting at basketball and tennis, Sometimes esports as well, but i dont recommend esports to you, Its just that I am playing dota 2 that's why i am enjoying if im betting with it.

For sure it should be cricket because in cricket there are not much upsets happening daily like tennis and other sports moreover with cricket you get a lot of things to bet at and hence win.

there is no sport for easy win in sports.The sport in which you have good knowledge is easiest.Its different from people to people.For me its cricket because I have good knowledge about it.

I think its tennis maybe because I love to bet on high odds and big risks. Like for example I placed 10$ on Sam Querrey vs Djokovic and hence won a big chunk of money but I have lost a lot too.

to me as i remained a good player of cricket and having more interest in cricket i can recommend you cricket as the easiest sport to win bit at. as i myself mostly do gambling on cricket the reason is that i know abut all the cricketers and about their games that is why it is more easy for me tan any other game.

Yes, you are right because all the sports have same amount of risk and equal house edge for all. I think though cricket and tennis are the best sport to win money with, but do not get fooled by betting into these sports without any knowledge or experience on team/player's performance under pressure, I was too in loss with these.

For me it is football. I just know the rules so well from growing up. But I kit learn the teams. Lucky I have a friend whom helps me , he is right most times.

First of all, focus on your favorite sports as this is your big advantage to make profits. Doing random bets for other sports which your only basis is by other saying, won't give you a best output.

In my case, my favorite one is basketball and doing regular bettings with this kind of sports depends on my favorite league. My own knowledge with the upcoming game is somehow a good factor for me to give my best pick. Right now my stats are doing good.

That would have been true like 10 years or 20 years ago when the sports were very stubborn and hardly any upset used to occur. Soccer is by far the most easy sport to bet on. Its easier to bet on a soccer game between 2 teams because you can find all the related news for these 2 teams and all the betting tips for free most of them if you just know how to google it(yes it has a few special keywords needed in order to get the most accurate information). But nothing is sure in soccer either. We have seen much weaker teams beat much stronger teams and thats the beauty of football, otherwise football would be just some other boring sport.

this is true,that people betting on some teams,may be actually successfull constantly about it,and take out a decent profit out of their bets.
However,you need really a lot of prediction skills,and a lot of time invested into it,to have a lot of knowledge about all factors,

Im saying for example,you need to know each team very well,to know what are the odds actually,and if your bet isn't just stupid,if it has high probability to get right,or you would rather loose it.
I dont think luck can help you a lot here,there are too many outcomes of one situation you base on your luck.

Yeah, same for me. The sport that can be easily won is basketball and esport. I can also include baseball. Badketball and esport because im a huge fan og NBA and DOTA 2. Ad what he ha said , if you are familiar woth that sport and teams you can easily win that bet. The reasoon why I include baseball even though I am not familiar with the teams is that I never been lost betting in baseball. I do some research abouth both teams andnthen I decide where to bet.

Basketball and Soccer are much easier to predict so that i think these are nice games, i mostly placed my bet on these games and these are very profitable for me.

I dont think so i think they are one of the most difficult to predict.Specially on over/under lines any thing could happen and i loose mostly on them.i will say there is no sport in which winning bets is easy.

A lot of people are saying football, but I disagree... The issue with football and other "low scoring" sports, especially ones that allow for "draws" is that it is far too common for an upset. This really screws with your odds.

Also, the draw is the worst factor in football. You get a team at the bottom of the EPL with a 1-9 record up against a high flying team like Man City who have been averaging 3 goals a game etc... you think, well easy win. Then Aston Villa defend like devils for 90 minutes and walk away with a draw and you lose your bet.

Same goes with Baseball (although they don't have draws which helps)... it doesn't take much for a team to end up with an upset 1-0 win in Baseball if the stronger team just has an off day.

Sports like Rugby, where the stronger team can REALLY dominate on the scoreboard makes for easy bets... low returns of course, but easy bets... Like the New Zealand All Blacks vs. Scotland or something like that... the odds will be like 1.02... but it is as close to a sure bet as you're like to find in sports betting.

I think the easiest is tennis, because there are only two wins and loses. but my favorite is soccer. because I do not know much about tennis, so for me that soccer is the easiest because I have a good knowledge.

I think this last euro match is a good proof that soccer isn't the right sport to bet at.
You just have to look at the match. .. so many occasions, such French domination  and still 0 goal during whole match! You had to wait the very end of the end to see something ^^

I think Hockey and Football are the hardest ones to predict. There are some easier ones like Boxing or maybe Tennis. Usually mens tennis.

I'm a fan of basketball, MMA , and a little for soccer, if you're really into sports and tracking down all the past history of each teams or a certain team. There's a great chance of winning if you knew all the weaknesses and strength of both teams when they clash.

I think sports that have 2 possible outcomes out of 3 are easier to bet on because the chances of winning are 50/50. Particularly lucrative sports are tennis and American sports but tennis is maybe the most profitable one because everything depends on 1 player and if you have information about his/her form and the condition of the track etc. it's possible to get most of the games right even though surprises could happen but less so than other team-based sports where a lot of things depend on a lot of different players so the variance is higher in my opinion.

Next season you will have to put money on the GSW in the NBA because they are just going to win all the games so you will win much money with it.
I think that I am going to do that and put money on every game that they are going to play.

For me soccer, cricket and basketball doing nice job for me, Euro Cup was quite disappointing for me but overall I am in profit with sports betting, it is not easy to make profit from betting because it is purely gambling.

Yeah, it is really depends on your knowledge about the sport. Even if you say soccer and others if I don't know those sports then it wouldn't help me. Better to bet on sports that you only know.

I'm better at football (soccer) betting. I don't think there's an easy answer to your question though. It all depends on each person/gambler specifically & what knowledge they have on what sport.

Imo the easiest sport to win bets is tennis.. Of course it all comes down to personal preference i think.

Now i prefer tennis again, and also soccer, but the thing is it's better to bet at your kind of sports, because you will be entertained as well.

True, do bet in sports is the proper and safe way. Because in our sports betting will only benefit fraud will not be fair and that it may just be there in another gambling. Gambling Sports is very special and different from the others

betting on tennis or badminton is easier to win but sometimes the odds are not as good as soccer bet, there are no 100% win great player like nadal or federer tend to have a very low odds, so for me sport betting is just the same with the other gambling games

For me, the easiest sport to win is e-sports. I'm a dota 2 player and understand the competitive on dota 2, i always sure and have 80% chance to win on every bet on dota 2.

It's easy for all the people that knows a certain sports. Even I for example, I know how to play football and I know the performance of each team. Then by that I can know where will I bet.

To be honest there is nothing easiest sport to win bets. We all have experienced again and again over the time loosing bets which were seeming easiest and sure to make money on them. You can not be sure of any team or match unless it is not fixed. It is all chances are more better by getting for stronger teams which is not easy always in my opinion.

In my opinion the easiest to win is tennis, you only need the correct info of two players. For example on football you have to know the quality and stats of 11 players for each team. Also is easier to bet on sports that you like and follow, because you know more things about them.

i think if you want to bet on sports, you have to choose the most sports you like, this could be tennis, soccer, basketball, even boxing. because if we really like in tennis and we know all the player, i mean for a big parts, we know the model of the games, then we can predict with easy and we know the player will be lose or win the games.

In sports betting, I can easily predict Cricket games. So I like cricket in sports betting. And also football here also I can predict based on players and team performance. Dots lol and other moba games are not easy to predict as the game can flip right over. I have seen what almost certainly seems like a win turn into a lose because the other team just went on a rampage and was carried.

It all depends on individual knowledge on particular game or team. If you good in some game and you know most of the players performance then mostly one can guess results more accurately regardless of any game. But due to match fixing issues becoming more popular nowadays so sports predicting slowly becoming harder and we need some luck to win at the end.

I think all of the sports are the same, the only problem is you don't know who will win. If I were you, i would rather search these teams and look if they will win the match or not. Before the match starts, 3 days from the match, you have to think who will win, research. You have to know their skills and tricks and compare them if they can win the match. And also look at the other speculations, you have to know other's comments also.

Soccer and Basketball are much very games to predict with some teams. I like to place bets on cricket matches too. Betting with some specialist teams is very and like to have fun in very interesting way. Some teams are hungry for win so they play with unstoppable mode.

I think betting in tennis will be the easiest one, because the outcome only win or lose no draw, but the odds sometimes is not as good as betting in soccer

If you don't know anything about some sport, then I recommend you to don't bet on them, because when you bet on some team, you should know every basic information that related to the team, like their statistics, head to head, and players condition. So no matter what sport you bet, the most important thing is the information (and luck as well :D). It would make you more confident and easier to pick your bet.

i don't think it matters that much which sport you are going to choose and make a bet on. what matters is how much you know about that particular sport and how well you know the teams current state and some history about their performance. so it can be soccer, it can be cricket or any other sport that you can think of.

My betting experience with soccer is very profitable even at the moment when all league matches will get start after few days, than I am less active on sports betting just placing only on few matches, it is really good when know about the playing teams strength than we have more good chance to get profit.

I'm starting to think it doesn't even matter what you pick it seems pretty well balanced. To tip the balance towards you in your favour you will have to analys plays from the past as well as each players strength and weaknesses.

For me it's Basketball. I guess, the easiest will depend on which sport are you actually watching. As you gain more knowledge with their leagues you will somehow have a very technical approach as to who will win on a certain matchup.

Yep. And you can actually help yourself and your speculation because you know the history or the games before. Like which player is injured and how will that affect your odds of winning by betting on the most probable team to win..

Definitely tennis mate, try it, its really profitable, with some research with it.

I would say the easiest sports to win at are an sport, but in a minor league, since often, sportsbooks won't have done as much research/analysis than normal, so you might get better odds for something than you should have, and often if you do research, you can find things to exploit. For more popular leagues, try Tennis. It is usually pretty predictable. I have also had success with Basketball (NBA), but that is about it. Soccer has been one of the worst for me.

I think the sports you are most familiar with will be the easiest sport to win bets.  Since  you have all the information needed and you have all around knowledge about each team.  For me the hardest is soccer because each team are well trained unless you are in a college league where you can easily  see which one have more advantage.

Soccer and cricket are easiest sports games where you have plenty of ways to win bets on. All you need is bit knowledge of team and of these capabilities in these sports. These are full of options to get profit quick and go out with that. I feel soccer more comfortable but cricket is best alternative if you have not good mood or team available to place bet on.

It depends which sport you got an interest in. I am a soccer fan so for me it's easier to predict soccer matches.

to me the easiest sport to gamble with is to do gambling on foot ball as we know about most of the player of the foot ball about their games and their teams so it become more easy to do gambling on foot ball as compare to other games.

I don't think, dice is very easy game to double our coins fast but I do agree it is very easy to play and can understand fast compared to other sports betting.

For me, Cricket and football are the fav games. Here I made a good profit. In Football maximum games end with a draw so here if you place bet to bring it is a nice profit. Sometimes you lose, but this is a safe bet in football. In cricket, you will get many choices to bet. Bet for total runs, target, players, team win and lose. Draw etc. etc.. So I like sports betting. For this, you should have proper knowledge on sports that's it.

I think the best sport to bet, is the one you feel more comfortable with. You need to have some good knowledge of the sport to identify value in your bets. For me it's football and tennis.

Choose what sports you really have knowledge since it will help you to make a good bet. You can make a good analyzation too if you know well that sports especially if you are betting on it's respective league.

Im only betting on sports betting especially in NBA and in our local league, PBA and right now my stats are good.

I think the easiest sport  to win bets is the sport you are  familiar with.  From it's player to playing strategy.  This  will give you advantage on who face who.  You can easily detect which  team is the underdog and which team will have a greater chance of winning and you can place bet with a lot of confidence that you will win.

I never bet for total runs, players and how much can score in single over and all those only luck oriented bets because very difficult guess those things based on earlier performances. So I only go for who can win at the end of the match and this strategy gave me good results and my predictions in cricket so for over 80% and I'm happy with my predictions.

because i am mostly a fan of gaming (which is E-Sports) so i know a lot more about the matches happening in games like Dota2 than i know about players and games in sports like soccer.

But you can also bet on cricket like you play fancy in cricket, you place your bet after every ball or after every over while in the case of football, in the starting you have to choose  your team and place bet. So in cricket you have more chances to win your bet by looking  the situation.

I used to think baseball was easier cause you could take dogs especially at home and they would win 50% of the time and since your getting +money

   For me easiest sport to win bets is tennis. There is not much combinations, there can be only one winner. You have top 10, and many other players. Only one bad thing is that odds are too small to make some money, you need to invest a lot to make some good money.
   Football is much more interesting, and you can combine odds and games. Its harder to predict results, but with any money you can bet on high odds and earn good even with small bets, that is advantage of betting on football matches.

I would say most indoor sports can make some money for you but just have to have patience and a good sporting knowledge of the games...

I am also interested to know which sport is easiest to win at. I have been trying to migrate from online slots to sports betting and so far I have followed tipster and even have bought tips from them. It means you are interestingly following cricket and you have some knowledge about cricket. That is the reason you have tried it before. Without interest, no one will be able to predict accurately.

So, the answer for which sport is easy for the betting is definitely the sport on which we are having more interest and we are keenly following time to time. It depends on individuals because I like cricket game a lot so it is easy to guess the winning team in any match. But some people they may not be watching cricket so for them it will be difficult to imagine. I made a decent profit in cricket betting and usually go with a smaller bet always to avoid massive losses at one shot. But for me, guessing basketball and soccer's bets is tough because I don't really follow those games.

It's not really hard to predict over/under lines, if you are good enough to predict how each team scores and predict the outcome of the game. Yes, it requires analysis, but sometimes favored teams can be overperformed or can bring upset performances to reflect the game score.

for me betting under/over is pretty easy, it just needs some analyzation skills for you to win however there are some cases that you will still lose but in my case i win more in this kind of bet

I normally do very well and end up in profit at the end of the season betting on AFL which is Australian football. Out of the last 10 seasons I have made a good profit in 9/10. My first season I didn't make a profit as I was still learning and picking the right bets to put on. I gave this current season a rest as I had other things to concentrate my time and money on. But I'm seriously thinking about getting back into it next season as this season is almost over,just 1 round of football left. I think it is Tennis because it is a game between two players and if you have been following one of the players, know his stamina and how he plays, you can bet for him. Exactly nowadays we can not predict 100% winning game. In all format of games, we are getting unpredictable results. The most expected players also give very poor performance.
