For example, if the house edge is 1% then the referral bonus may be 25% of that. So if 1btc is wagered then only 0.0025btc will be received in referral commission. Some Dice sites offer different amounts than 25% so the payouts are likely to be very small. Also, what is stopping these gamblers from creating another account and using the earnings from that to get 100%.

You could do it of course, but you run into danger to lose both accounts and balances when you get banned by the service.

Don't you want just keep playing and when you look at your main account there is extra coins for you?
