I sort of thought that all the alts combined are < 1% of BTC market cap. Can anyone sum up the major alts' market cap? Title: Re: What is the market cap of the alts? I'm going to talk about the Alt Currencies in the next Israeli Bitcoin Meetup (this Thursday). I had planned to say the market cap of all alts together is < 1% of bitcoin ... then I thought I'd actually do some fact checking, and find this. Now I actually see that a coin such as DevCoin, which I thought would be meaningless (because frankly I never got the idea of why it should be a worthwhile coin), is equal to PPCoin in its market cap.
