Title: Please update the Help Pages to help people about starting a new topic Post by: guarriman on March 18, 2013, 09:27:31 PM It would be great if you mentioned on the 'Help pages' (which might help people) that it's not possible to start new topics when you are newbie.
I was reading this page https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=help;page=post#newtopic (the page which might have helped me to start a new topic) for 15 minutes and no clue about why I was not able to start a new topic. Do not wait to ask it just because you must post it in "newbies": the question is very likely to have already been asked. If you are commenting on Bitcoin, use your newbie wait time to read more about Bitcoin. If you are criticizing Bitcoin, find similar criticism using the search tool to see which points have already been covered. A good use of your newbie wait time is reading Satoshi's old posts. Then the checkbox you must check at the bottom to register says: Quote ☑ I understand that I will initially be unable to post to most forum sections, as explained above. Then there is a sticky note at the top of the newbie forum. It is impossible to make people read, apparently. |
