Title: development of new cryptocurrency
Post by: Harsh32 on July 11, 2016, 08:31:33 AM
I have an innovative idea of creating a cryptocurrency in which transactions can be verified within 10 seconds.I have idea of how this could be done but I don't know programming.
So anybody having enough knowledge to create a crypto currency from almost scratch, please pm me or reply here.
we could create this currency together.

Don't waste your time. I know how to design a CC to verify in less than a second, and I know how to program it.

it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to create a cc with transaction time of less than a sec. this small transaction time will make different Mines work on different block at same time.

Major Banks offer services such as Interac eTransfer.
I have used it and it was less than 10 seconds.
It took as long as receiving an email.

Banks have other methods that are fast too.

Forcing the concept of a BLOCK-CHAIN into a currency is not innovative.

Do you guys really know what innovation actually means ?

These retards do not know how to answer your question.
Nor do i actually think you wanted to ask the REAL question.

All you guys have asked for years over & over & over is how to "make" one..

In other words.. How do i clone one ? <-- the real question.

Because there has never really been any real new coin.
All we have seen is mod's on the existing code.
Which the level of modding equates to it still being a clone.

Such as LEOcoin which is a mod / rip-off of MintCoin.
Or guys who mod the windows Disc then call it their brand new OS they "coded"

Altcoin scene crypto-douche bags.. proudly full of shit since 2012®

At 10 seconds, the majority of the miners or stakers on the internet clients would not have time to reach consensus , causing what I like to call an Orphan Storm.
Even at 30 second block speeds we can see orphan storms bog down the network on occasion.

Study theses issues to see the problems with your idea
Orphan block : A block which is not a part of the valid blockchain, but which was instead part of a fork that was discarded.
Blockchain bloat : Faster the blockspeed the faster it will grown in Size.
Chain Reorganization : The term "blockchain reorganization" is used to refer to the situation where a client discovers a new difficultywise-longest well-formed blockchain which excludes one or more blocks that the client previously thought were part of the difficultywise-longest well-formed blockchain. These excluded blocks become orphans.

Nimble coin was going do 5 second block time with 20 second confirmation, but dropped it as far as I know.
