Title: Circle of Trust: Litecoin Edition
Post by: tkbx on March 19, 2013, 03:26:15 AM
Let's do this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=92658.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=92658.0)
But with a Litecoin. Post your address, receive a litecoin, and pass it on to the next person. I'm going to require 30 posts, so nobody makes an account just to steal the coin. If you don't pass it on, you will be reported as a scammer.

Post your address to get started. After 20 participants, send the coin to LgoAeLAMmEaxsjb5vvuwxxJiB7RideHukU

Let's do this!  Litecoin fees are a bit high though.

I also have Ripple.  rrsLZe8G7Kd9vLueq5wypao2aNDtL4Rg8T

Ripple is such a great concept.

I guess I've skiped my turn as far as Liquid sent coins to wizzardTim instead of me...
1 LTC is on the way to chriswen's wallet, (so, you have 6 litecoins to transmit).

i intended to send 6.81478028 to help with that but apparently the 0.81478028 instead decided it would end up at LP5UWLk4SYE9rLUX45ktT4sWaovkUpuiDd, a random wallet ? lol dont ask me why or how that even happened.

ok theres already 3 people in line for this...

live627 you should just send the coins over and be done with it. someone else along the line can bump it up to 6 again if they feel like it. holding on to the ltcs forever wont do the circle any good, and coins wont automagically materialize in your wallet for you to "be able to cover the fees".

pass them on to the next person (Amitabh S)

and btw this has probably gone over the time OP originally intended and i expect trolls to get in at any point now. i would check the profile of people to see if their accounts were created before this thread was started (or if they had too many posts recently)

First - its a game... lets just have fun with it. :)

If you check back to the original game (that I was part of), there were times that the coins didn't move for quiet a while - but then it got moving again.  I'm not trying to advocate people use this as a short term loan, lol, I"m just saying I dont think we need to worry ourselves over the coins being sent on by the time the 7th confirmation happens! :)  Transactions fees are a whopping 5 cents, I hope that doesn't take anyone to the cleaners if they end up paying the 0.10 LTC!!!! lol

That said - I'd partake again if the coins show up in my wallet.  LSz7D2ywY95zqX4VMvSxLnieDuMUApGtF7

I am headed off to bed, so if I receive the coins they wont be sent on for several hours! :P

Would it be against the rules to break the direct chain by accepting the LTC in one wallet, and then sending the same value (+1ltc) from a different wallet?

Sorry for my delay, I had completely forgot about this thread.  I am waiting for my wallet to catch up to the current chain and then I will be sending 6LTC to this guy...

Would it be against the rules to break the direct chain by accepting the LTC in one wallet, and then sending the same value (+1ltc) from a different wallet?

I would add to the total sum, but my financials are pretty tight right now.

Edit: managed to rummage up a little extra LTC to cover the fee and help others with the fee as well.  Awaiting confirmations before I can send to the next guy.
