Hi everyone so i'm new to the mining and i want to build a rig to mine ethereum but i really need help .
If it is possible to help me pick up best cards from this site to build a rig with maximum number of cards possible for an amount doest not exceed 1200 dollars for the GPU's  ( equal to 12 000 DH i'm from Morroco and i can't buy the GPU'S from outside my country it's gonna be verry expensive )

R9 380 is a good choice right now.

The best choice is to build the rig so you can use it for something ELSE in a few months when Ethereum goes unprofitable for you.

the r9 270x was a pretty good value for money one for a while. you would be taking a risk buying 1ks worth at the moment though . If ethereum does hard fork and then the price drops down much further then you might not even break even to cover the costs of all the cards that youve just bought.

290 = 27-30 mhs, very power hungry
380 = 20 mhs, a bit less power hungry
480 = 25-27 mhz, a lot less power hungry

the 480 uses a LOT less power (so you can use smaller psu, and need less cooling) and is more future proof as its more modern.

unless youre electric price is very low, get the 480

with that electricity i would avoid old generation, better to buy new polaris for amd, if you really want to stay with amd

also old gen have like zero resale value, which is very important, if the overall profit die

but he can try to sell those cards, for 80% or their original value, so it shouldn't be hard to break even

i cna get r9 290 cards for about $150, whereas the rx480 (with less hashrate) costs about $300. surely the 290 may be a better deal if I intend to mine for 1yr+?

what about nvidea cards? seems like a 750Ti (cheaper and less power hungry than the r9-290) can mine FTC at nearly the same $/GPU/day. would a rig of those be a better option?
