Does it matter if Blockstream is profiteering if Bitcoin price is up? I still think it matters because we want an open and free Bitcoin for everyone as much as possible...Not third party services that are permissioned. As long as it improves bitcoin, whatever.http://nodecounter.com/ I don't think BTC would be closed-source anytime soon. So what if it's developed by Blockstream? People can still review the source. Miners can still mine on their desired chain, be it core or classic. Everyone is still entitled to their own opinion. If you disagree with core, go with classic. No one will stop you. If Blockstream messes up, everyone can simply ignore their recent changes. Democracy.
