This article has been viewed by pokemon fanatics and they are waiting to see what are the new features it has to offer. While bitcoin users are excited to have a new app that can earn bitcoins. But this is not yet available, as the article said, it is just a concept, a question or probability. The question on how and when will it happen still left as a mystery as they are waiting for a hacker to link pokemon and bitcoins.

I do not think there is any intentions for Pokemon to give rewards in bitcoin. Because as the article speculated ,I saw this morning a video for someone is playing the game using a drone and mirrors his screen on the laptop. So it is very easy to cheat in the game. The rest of the article is just talking about a faucet !

I have read that article and as far as my understanding goes the article was just a speculation or a "what if ?". It tries to merge pokemon and bitcoins and you may get tokens while playing. The idea was not out of hand since there are a lot of online app games that gives price to players by just playing it. Its not new in the online apps but what makes the story interesting is the popularity of pokemon go at this time.

I think its a good idea but there are cryptocoin also to used aside from bitcoin. If this happen that game will be using bitcoin, it will give a bost to bitcoin and will propel the demand, and hopefully will push also the bitcoin pricẹ :) Hope that it will happen soon :)

pokemon GO just got the popularity instantly and have nothing to do with bitcoin,adding faucet or getting paid by playing seems just useless thing they don't want to do,and evne without it the game still being played by so many people,so i think these speculations just far to be realized

developer game and developer bitcoin activist colaborate integrate game booming pokemon with bitcoin

Too good to be true, and game isnt that much reliable with his anticheats deal with issues, you just need a fake gps app (a paid one) and some nice pics on your screen to get all the pokemons you need..
and lets say they make it anti-cheatable you gonna need a shitload of cpu/ram power in order to run the game & the blockchain, things will get messy,
I believe this speculation was made to create some hype, and BTC fans get involed with pokemon

its just an idea but its a good one. .lets just pray that they will integrate it soon enough while pokemon go is on heat. when it does its a good opportunity for bitcoin community this is a great chance that bitcoin will get know by other people.

just heard it for the first time GPS can be faked,they'll need to fix it asap or the game will not last long,just by cheating the game will lost its point of funny and people starting to envy each other and finally all peolpe cheating

If this story really true the it is going t be a great thing for Bitcoin because that Pokemon Go game is too popular at the moment.
If they are going to implement Bitcoin in the game then that is also going to be allot more popular.

Cant see anything to do with pokemon go having Aany positive affect on bitcoin.  No one is going to use bitcoin to make purchases on it unless it's the only option.  Everyone is already happy using Playstore money.  The only way this would work is if it was offered as the only payment because the dev was a bitcoin enthusiast,  which i doubt he is.

Pokemon GO has already famous without bitcoin because in my country almost all smartphone users playing these game but if in the future they put in bitcoin as new feature i think indirectly these will make bitcoin more popular too because for those who not using bitcoin but playing Pokemon GO they will start to using bitcoin to buying new particular items on Pokemon GO

It would be great for pokemon fan and bitcoin enthusiast at the same time if this stuff happen, but the article is just saying the stating a "what if" scenario.  There is no confirmation anywhere from the article about pokemon Go integrating Bitcoin in it.  Though there was a statement about some pokemon game not pokemon Go already using Bitcoin faucet in their game and the other one that accept Bitcoin as donation.  The article is all about the idea of playing the game with cryptocurrency bonus

Only if Nintendo and Niantic decided to allow high level pokemons to be traded among players then we could be talking about purchasing and selling pokemons for Bitcoin privately. Otherwise I don't think that Apple or Google will allow Bitcoin payments on their app stores because this would be direct competition for their payment solutions they already have.

Pokemon Go is taking down twitter tinder and some other popular apps with its high users activity, integrating bitcoin there will be a great boost for the bitcoin, but how people can earn bitcoin through pokemon go?

Agree, u can't have 1 popular thing and add bitcoin to it for instant success.
There are far more suitable things that could benefit from bitcoin, and its of course not pokemon go game :P

What are you means, why must hacker to do that. :o ??? I sure it's too fast for pokemon to think about bitcoin. they have a lot of homework for their system and needed an improvements.

Pokemon interaction will be very good for Bitcoin, if they can link the two together. I heard that they will have some sort of transmitted hidden somewhere and if you pass the location, it would award you a Pokemon character. I think it would be good if they link that to a monetary reward, that enables you to buy the figurine. ^smile^

Bitcoin.com is not a reputable news source (it's controlled by banker lobbyist and big block fanatic Roger Ver). I consider this article pure click bait, because it doesn't report any facts - it's pure speculation.

In my view it is highly unlikely that Pokémon will integrate Bitcoin anytime soon. The simple reason is that Bitcoin is still a niche currency with a comparatively small user base. Paying out Bitcoin to the app's users might confuse the majority of them, since they do not know enough about BTC. So (at least for today) I don't think it's a viable marketing strategy for the app.

Instead of speculating on new non-essential services accepting Bitcoin, I would be pleased to see real businesses from the primary sector accepting BTC. Farmers and producers of raw materials accepting Bitcoin for payment would bring us much further in terms of a native Bitcoin closed-loop economy than applications in the entertainment sector.

As OP said they are looking for an hacker to merge both of them together. so I assume there will be a faucet implemented on pokemon go game and players can claim some satoshi while playing games. if it happen then it would be really nice BTW.

in the articles they also mentioned a facuet game pokebits. so we can say pokemon already involved in bitcoin. although  this is just a faucet and official pokemon have no connection with it.

Since they have a "pokecoin" in the game, it might be just a way to buy this "pokecoin" with bitcoin.

but, it's seems a good idea to make a gateway to buy things in pokemon go with bitcoin (p2p trades). let's wait and see how the monetary system work in the game.

Well that would be nice to hear, because I like pokemon. Yesterday my friend sent me a link of pokemon games and said to me  to sign up then play pokemon site  and earn bitcoin, and its very exciting while I'm playing it. Just like the real ash collecting pokemon in the midts of his journey.Lol ;D :D

This might be a good idea for those who already knows how bitcoin works. But I don't think this is a good idea in general because I think not all Pokemon Go players know bitcoins. If this would be implemented, then bitcoin will be introduced to million more people. I don't think this article is for real because bitcoin.com isn't that reliable, tbh. The owner might even just using Pokemon Go's current popularity to increase the traffic on his site.

This is stupid, Pokemons cannot be traded and should not be traded, also Pokémon Go developers should not use third party networks for the game.

Also, bitcoin developers do not allow such thing to be done in the bitcoin network, the amount of new transactions would be enormous, problems for bitcoin network and huge problems for the game.

People just want to put bitcoin everywhere, even where it doesn't belong.

I agree with comment above. Its very hard to see this happen any time soon. Game is already out and contracts has been signed Pokemons are already deep in the game, but not with btc.

Maybe this can happen in the future, if btc become so strong and only then pokemon developers can have some good reason for this merge, for now this is not possible. Pedrog is maybe right about one thing, people always wish to put btc everywhere, even where it doesn`t belong.

If this really happened and implemented then expect the price to say "UP WE GO!" a great news and a good way for us to bag more coins now because there's a possibility that it will make the price increase.

Yes it may take some time to happen but i will be waiting for it to happen.Its awesome bitcoin to merge with pokemon,never thought about that.Dont know about others but i will surely put my btc there.

Concept is good however the payout in bitcoin can't be big with current price if this implementation is done by another bitcoin related company or person. And also there could be copyright policy so that other than pokeman company can't implement or poke the original game.

That's right, they just apply for the main payment. this is just a dream to merge the Pokemon and bitcoin but it that thing can be happened maybe will taking a long time to do that. just be realistic.

I've seen this news as well in facebook. Actually, quite a lot of my friends shared this and of course, it's a little bit too good to be true to believe in.
First off, pokemon go has it's own problems for now, especially their servers that can't handle large traffic and their system is always being exploited with different ways of getting kilometer count.

honestly, I do not know what the relationship with the pokemon that bitcoin is currently the talk. but I think it's very different, but if they are combined for the moment I think it's good enough for bitcoin users. because the company consolidated pokemon and bitcoin, people will inevitably begin to recognize bitcoin.

It is just a speculation and the article talks about pokebits, a bitcoin faucet which is worthless for my opinion. As far as i know the pokecoins can be bought only through AppStore and GooglePlay which take their cut of course. How bitcoin can be alternative included there is if these stores accept bitcoin.

Also, one can buy Play Store and App Store gift cards with bitcoin.

But it's not anymore directly paying with bitcoin, this is an alternative way but still works, the reason why those market does not accept bitcoin is that they have their own Apple pay and google pay

I am not sure how they are going to merge but if you could use Bitcoin as a payment with in Pokemon Go it would be a huge thing for Bitcoin.

I dont know where did u get that article but if that really true well its kinda very exciting for us to know that they will possibly merge to bitcoins but i really think that it is just a myth since the maker of that app is possible dont know about bitcoins.

But if this scenario will be happen well that will add our excitement to play pokemon go in philippines.
