Swiss and Norway are the only democratic nation ;D Yes, living conditions are way better in most european nations but they are only pseudo-democratic, the reason why Brittain is in the process of leaving EU. Individual states in the USA have direct democracy too... A representative democracy can be democratic too if the members of the parliament really represent those that voted them and not some cronies... Britain is become a direct democracy too... At least on large issues (Scotland, EU). Direct democracy is good as long as it's backed by certain untangible values... I am happy that the fan of suckerboy can only censor on Facebook and that they can do it too... In the sense it is his platform and he is the law :). |
