My account will say 0 (BTC taken out) but it never goes anywhere. Later the balance will show back up in the account and the transaction will still say pending. Eventually the BTC will still be there and the transaction will mysteriously disappear. So your BTC did not disappear really but it never went anywhere either...obviously not very reliable.
