Was mining bitcoins, but because my electricity is expensive i'm migrate to altecoin... So i think to buy 1x r9 280x and mining with ethereum. For mining hardware compsrison this gpu get 85mh/s, and how profit with 85mh/s i got per week $47.59 Sorry for my question, but i'm new with altcoin.... my question is: this price is true? If yes, i'm made one computer for mining this. Thanks for help Title: Re: r9 280x ethereum Post by: mirny on July 15, 2016, 04:50:16 AM r9 280x will give you 18-20MHs not 85

Im running 3 hardware 2x R9 390 , 1x R9 280x and i get 82.5mhs Title: Re: r9 280x ethereum Post by: adaseb on July 15, 2016, 07:25:23 AM 280x is a good mining card but not good for ETH because every 5 days its slow down a little in speed. Try getting a 380/290 instead? Or if you can afford it then get the new 480.

thanks 280x is a good mining card but not good for ETH because every 5 days its slow down a little in speed. Try getting a 380/290 instead? Or if you can afford it then get the new 480. Not bad. Title: Re: r9 280x ethereum Post by: Q_R_V on July 15, 2016, 01:10:31 PM This score was submitted in april, it's not very up to date.
Title: Re: r9 280x ethereum Post by: eduardomjus on July 15, 2016, 08:00:14 PM Ok, but, any one know how much i got if i use r9 290x ?
+ or - ... thanks Title: Re: r9 280x ethereum Post by: s1gs3gv on July 15, 2016, 11:06:52 PM Ok, but, any one know how much i got if i use r9 290x ? + or - ... thanks ~ 27-28 mhs Title: Re: r9 280x ethereum Post by: Arcteryx on July 15, 2016, 11:25:54 PM 280x is a good mining card but not good for ETH because every 5 days its slow down a little in speed. But how accurate are those values ??? I would imagine you can get those cards for under $250 right? Title: Re: r9 280x ethereum Post by: 155UE on July 16, 2016, 12:03:41 AM 480's can only get half that amount 27mhs max.
Read up alittle son to start in mining. It is a rat race to say the least. You got to get in fast or your sh*t outta luck. ;) Title: Re: r9 280x ethereum Post by: john1010 on July 16, 2016, 12:33:36 AM I have 2 RX 480 and got 48-50MH

Title: Re: r9 280x ethereum Post by: Haruderty on July 16, 2016, 06:36:58 AM I have 2 RX 480 and got 48-50MH I think that is the right speed for the stock RX 480. If you overclock the memory and underclock the core, you will get higher hash. Title: Re: r9 280x ethereum Post by: eduardomjus on July 16, 2016, 01:38:18 PM ok, first I need to say thank to all people who help me here with your answers, but think about this ...
"2 RX 480 and got 48-50MH" = Week $26.41 - 1 eth is: 11.9$, so, you need wait one week to sell two eth? or im said any wrong ... ? I was think invest in 3x r9 390 xfx = 96Mh/s - per day: $7.88 per week: $55.16 per month: $236.42 i think is better idea or not? Title: Re: r9 280x ethereum Post by: BTC_ISTANBUL on September 27, 2016, 10:34:23 AM Well....A 480 needs 175 Watt where a 390x needs 250 watt.

At the current difficulty and electricity price of 0.15 dollar/kWh, it will take about 330 days to have ROI. You have to be very careful to invest in the new mining equipment at present, it is not very profitable. Thanks for help the person who told u that u can get 85mh/s lied to you, infact R9280x is one of the worst cards to mine with, but it depends on how much u get it for, u should get it at max $100 Title: Re: r9 280x ethereum Post by: Dentidan on October 10, 2016, 02:44:08 PM Hello guys, Was mining bitcoins, but because my electricity is expensive i'm migrate to altecoin... It is never as high as 85 MH/s. |
