Was mining bitcoins, but because my electricity is expensive i'm migrate to altecoin...
So i think to buy 1x r9 280x and mining with ethereum.
For mining hardware compsrison this gpu get 85mh/s, and how profit with 85mh/s i got per week $47.59
Sorry for my question, but i'm new with altcoin.... my question is: this price is true?
If yes, i'm made one computer for mining this.

Im use R9 280x and i get power arround 18-20 mhs (ethhash) , where you know the R9 280x can get 85mhs ?

Im running 3 hardware 2x R9 390 , 1x R9 280x and i get 82.5mhs

280x is a good mining card but not good for ETH because every 5 days its slow down a little in speed. Try getting a 380/290 instead? Or if you can afford it then get the new 480.

The new 480 is very efficient, 150% as good as the old 280x cards. But it is much more expensive.

That's for 4 total 280x's - 3 Powercolor, and 1 Sapphire, for a total of 85Mh/s, or 21.25Mh/s per GPU. Not bad.

So how long would it take to ROI on a shiny brand new 480 take?
So that 85mh/s for $47.59 per week? But how accurate are those values  ???
I would imagine you can get those cards for under $250 right?

480's can only get half that amount 27mhs max.
Read up alittle son to start in mining.
It is a rat race to say the least. You got to get in fast or your sh*t outta luck.   ;)

I have 2 RX 480 and got 48-50MH

I think that is the right speed for the stock RX 480. If you overclock the memory and underclock the core, you will get higher hash.

ok, first I need to say thank to all people who help me here with your answers, but think about this ...
"2 RX 480 and got 48-50MH" = Week    $26.41 - 1 eth is: 11.9$, so, you need wait one week to sell two eth? or im said any wrong ... ?

I was think invest in 3x r9 390 xfx = 96Mh/s - per day: $7.88 per week: $55.16 per month: $236.42

i think is better idea or not?

Well....A 480 needs 175 Watt where a 390x needs 250 watt.

Income-expenses=net_income

expenses=electricity,rent,internet cost

try ethos 1.0.4 now for free !!! i think it's the best platform for r9 280x/290x gpu's

At the current difficulty and electricity price of 0.15 dollar/kWh, it will take about 330 days to have ROI.

You have to be very careful to invest in the new mining equipment at present, it is not very profitable.

the person who told u that u can get 85mh/s lied to you, infact R9280x is one of the worst cards to mine with, but it depends on how much u get it for, u should get it at max $100

the performance of the R9 280x is more like 16 MH/s at the current mining of the DAG. It is never as high as 85 MH/s.
