The controller is sold AS IS because it has an issue during start up. You start it, it makes some kind of whistle noise, and you need to turn it off, and turn it back on again a few times until it finally boots. Sometimes you need to power it on- power it off like 5-6 times before it finally starts hashing. Once it hashes it works for days. I don't know whether its because its cold or because the SD card is bad quality. Since I only shut off the miner like once a month it wasn't an issue for me. It would be at least $50 USD for a small box.
