Your best bet would be to setup a fanpage with a application tab with some interactive stuff for people to like the fanpage and invite friends to it.

We need more businesses accepting bitcoin first though. What about a facebook page and campaign to do just that first? The best thing you can do on FB is just post articles on bitcoin to your wall so all your uninititated friends become aware of the concept. FB fan pages and events are just preaching to the choir.
