There will be a dump after the fork  :-X

Still i am feeling fear from that, a number of people already had lost a lot of their money at there which till now did not recover, as the price till now did not reach at that value where it was and the trust of people is still in doubt.

The DAO is not forked. There is an attempt to fork ETH itself. The result is currently unknown.

There is literally no material difference. We both know what we are talking about right? I mean the ETH fork right?

I think people here generally follow cryptocurrency events and know what im talking about right?

I wouldnt be surprised if the ethereum classic initiative is actually taken by the thief. And even if they have good intentions ethereum classic is nothing without the original lineup, since for obvious reasons no one understands it and its development path as well as they do.

Beware for whale dumpers brother. They are just waiting to fork. Im very pissed to them.. and i dont want the ether anymore

You are kidding right ? If they wanted to dump, they would have dumped before the fork not after, now after the fork when everything will be clear and uncertainty period will be over and eth will climb up to 15$ and soon back to its 20$+ value.

looking to eth charts, doesnt seem good.. making a new low and failing a new top.
plus, btc is looking bullish, so it might pump tomorrow. if that happens, ETH might be doomed.

this only looks like a dead cat bounce because of the hype that the fork has created and it means it will be over soon so buying now means buying into the pump which has a dump so close by and it is dangerous.

it doesn't matter at this point what happens with DAO, it has done the damage which is irreversible damage too.
so if i were you i wouldn't be fooled by a jump back up because for all we know, the whales are pumping it shortly to get out of eth in a little higher price.

but to me as you can see that the price of bitcoin is continuously increasing therefore the people focused is on bitcoin only, currency people like to hold bitcoin for the price increase therefore little people will be thinking about bitcoin investment in alt section there better is to stay calm for some time.

what is meant by fork, i can see two etherum ,ETH and ETC,one is classic and other the current one,will there be another block when they fork and what is the reason for these forks.Are they randomly doing it ,i just dont get it.i takes time for me to learn everything now,so i would like to hear from experienced users

the first thing you should learn is to take a look at the time of the post you are quoting. in this particular occasion you are quoting a comment from 3 months ago.

the reason for this particular fork was than ethereum foundation and the devs who are the main share holders of ethereum (they hold the 80%+ of this coin as premine) lost a lot of money because their code had serious bug in it which was easily used by DAO so they did a roll back kind of thing (simply put) to make back what they have lost.

I actually think either ETH or ETC will have some gains soon, but I'm not sure which.
I need to do more research because there is a lot of news about both recently,
which usually turns into a lot of trading volume.
Someone is going to make a lot of money off one of these coins in the next few weeks.

but to me i think it is not still the best time to invest in Ethereum, because to me as the price of bitcoin is continuously increasing therefore people are not ready to invest their bitocin any where but holding it for the price increase.

Eth have a very strong support at 0.018 btc, we should not expect any fall in the price of this coin unless that level is broken.

I agree with you, it is better to wait and see the direct the market turns to, if the hard fork happens to go south there will be a great dump even if successful the human psychology barrier is still there to break

to me it is not still good time to trad in Ethereum because to me as most of the people are engage in buying and investing in  bitcoin and those who have already bought bitcoin they are holding bitcoin presently as the price is expecting to cross 700$ at the end of October therefore no one is ready to invest in Ethereum, i thin you should stay a little.
