Me and Isaac (aizzaku (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=223058)), Lead Designer of FailCommunity (https://twitter.com/FAILCommunity) are trying to create a new logo for quite some time now, but personally I feel that we still haven't created the right one. We started as FailCoin (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1014145.0), a simple scrypt cryptocurrency launched back in March 2014, but currently we are developing a community with it's own cryptocurrency. So far we are team of 12 people from 10 countries around the world. Unfortunately, we only have 1 (though extremely skilled) developer who is very busy. That is why things are moving slowly, but we'll reach the end. :) FAIL will be targeting Social networks and YouTube and at the moment we are working on a new wallet with integrated YouTube and Twitter. I would like to ask for some of your time to share your thoughts on the examples below. I still think that this one is one of the worst. ;D Since you are targeting the social network I think the logo with the shadows of the people in circle is the best choice,but you should at least give it some colors to make it more pleasing to the eyes.. Well, we can't use this one, because part of it is from a website, which is with free content, but using images for commercial purposes is forbidden. I posted it to serve as a example. I would say that most of your logos have very negative connotations. Very dystopic, undesirable or even frightening. If that IS the entire point, than those two shown above are the best. The idea is logo to be somehow funny, simple yet professional. Probably that is why I don't like a single one (even the ones I created). Thanks for that opinion.. it means a lot. I think the closest to being funny are the first two reversed 'F' logos. The one with 'community' over letter 'F' seems quite cheerful ::) But if you want to go the funny way, why not take in some of the slapstick classics? ::) couldn't resist adding something :D But I dont know, it may be kinda funny but is the fail part clear enough? Not to much community feedback for your request I guess. You should have throw a contest here, for people to design logos for you. Amount of ideas would surprise you. It's one of the simple ones, but from my discussions with one of my SEO minded friends, logos that are clearly recognizable (and legible) tend to stick with users the best. I like the design of some of the other better. Also really liked the guy falling down one in the circle. Very identifiable picture that is persisting in my mind even as I type this post. That's a good thing, as Marth Stewart would say.

I can run a contest, but we are out of money, since my investor abandoned me and I wouldn't ask for money from our team. I prefer the logo with fail facing forward. People around FAIL already imply about community so.. don't waste your time. :) Funny FAIL and people around it would be enough imo. I hope to hear some more opinions from other people as well. the thought process of the latest logo was that. first we need the 'F' flipped and AIL which is good and nothing fancy. @spartak: Told me to cut of the L and F edges to make it look better and it truly does. secondly, i have seemlessly incorporated the general fail symbol into it. thirdly, to show the community i have use silhouettes of random people which shows we are all connected via fail.
