In both cases I would advice to scan the file first with virustotal.com. There are enough ways to hide a .exe in a image or video or even an app. 15 cents isn't worth the risk... As with all thing like this in bitcoin land, be really careful bringing unvetted files onboard a rig you make transactions on. Same with mobile devices.

My friend did this and he never downloaded the file since the survey makes him go nowhere than visiting another page and another page.
