I think a great feature to be implemented would be the possibility to turn off your signature before making a post, I have seen this feature on hackforums before and it works well. The reason for this:

We all know that moderators are  more critical of people wearing paid signatures, there is no room for discussion on this, it just is how it is. You are more likely to get a post removed if you are wearing a paid signature. I often times want to make a short post that isnt 100% constructive so i would like the ability to turn my signature off for such posts. What do you guys think?

I think it's a good idea - have a toggle that remembers your last selection.

I think this could be a good idea because sometimes when im replying to someone whos made a reply to me all it would take would be a simple message but guaranteed someone would then complain that ive made a short non-constructive post . It wouls also be handy so that you could turn it off in the trading section since a lot of accusations are made in their against signature earners.

Would be nice.  But this feature is pretty much only useful to signature campaign users and signature campaigns are external services that can get banned from this forum anytime theymos think 'fuck it'.  So it probably won't happen.

Indeed the campaigns are a separate feature of the forums and i wont go to fart into it but basically by having the ability to turn them off in certain areas it will appease many of the people who have such a hatred for the signature campaigns.  It basically keeps everyone happy.

It wouldn't work unless the post count was temporarily suspended as well, but let's be honest, spammers probably won't use it any way. Nobody is going to be penalised for making a few short posts but it's those that only make them because they're getting paid for them that are the problem so those people aren't likely to willingly penalise themselves in the first place.

That will be good, have you tried talking to one of the moderators about this?

It would only keep people who dislike Signature Campaigns happy if people were to use this feature, which I doubt the majority of Signature Campaigners would.
While it's a nice idea, I doubt it would be worth the time or effort to implement this considering most Campaigners would care more about their earnings than how other members feel.

Apparently hackforums don't have signature campaigns. ;)

It would be difficult (unless campaigns start using bots with that feature) to count posts if I know anything. Better just get rid of the campaigns.
