When you say "codes", does this mean multiple messages will be sent... or is it just a single message? Does the mobile number need to be from a specific country or can it be from any country?

Can anyone else advise if this is likely to be conducted as part of a scam of some description involving a localbitcoins transaction... Paranoia level is high ;)

Verifying a phone number for a user who mostly would scam is as bad as scamming yourself.Why else one would ask others to verify on his behalf ? Yeah, that's why I asked. I'm not all that familiar with how localbitcoins works. From what I gather it is a buy/sell type exchange where you can buy or sell your bitcoins with somebody in your local area... so I figured that this guy was wanting to set up fake/alt accounts for some reason...  ??? maybe so he can use it to build fake rep or something? Which would usually mean they are trying to run a scam...

I was hoping he'd PM me with details so I could investigate further, but no word back... and I doubt he'll PM me now :P

Hey I am not selfish and don't want to help any scammer. Really sorry for that.  From today, I swear that I will not provide any service to a newbie or any scammer or a red trusted member. But honestly I am not earning anything online, so struggling here to get some bucks. Or else I don't like to hurt anyone for particular stuffs.
