What are the TOP 5 online wallets ?

I only use blockchain.info and I feel that is the safest of all and after using it I never thought of switching to any other wallet as it offers me great level of safety and security.

I dont care about blockchain

Top 5 in terms of what? No such thing as top 5 online wallets for me.

My advice : Don't use online wallets for long term savings.If you need to do transactions regularly and you're too lazy to open your deskop wallet for sending a few satoshi's,keep a small amount in online wallets.The following list is based on the wallet's security/reliability/user-friendliness/popularity

Almost all web wallet are not good to invest for me so only electrum and bitcoin core still the best as wallet those web wallet i experience bad issue in those wallet..

This seems to be accurate, although after circle I don't know any of the other parties. I would suppose an exchange like bittrex or maybe hashnest would hold the fifth place since many users user their wallet as a payment wallet?

so electrum, core, armory, are all online as long as they are connected to the internet.

Now i think that blockchain isnt the most popular.Now i think that modt popular is bleushare because you can exchange your bitcois for about 100 other cryptocurrencies amd you can buy theor shares for dividends.

I never heard about this website, but looks like it's not a bitcoin wallet but it's crypto ecxhange like Yobit or C-cex.

Dont know about top 5 but i think blockchain wallet is the best which i always use.
Its easy to use and have security options including 2fa and also a mobile compatible wallet.

Sorr my mystake yea it is exchanger similar to yobit but i call him bitcoin wallet because i save money there and i buy dividends and i also tradevwith cryptocurrencies.

Blockchain is the largest wallet provider at the moment and it isn't even that close. Coinbase is the closest to them, but most people use Coinbase to buy/sell BTC and not as a wallet.

I don't know about top five, I have and use just two:

1. Blockchain.info

2. Xapo

My first wallet was Xapo, and I was using that wallet cuase they don't have transaction fees. In the beginning earning from faucets was very low, so it was good for me.
Then I started to make more coins and blockchain looked like better wallet, and people here think blockchain is better secured.

Blockchain.info wallet is the best wallet for me.
Next i will say may be xapo because its very good for mobile users and for those who collect some satoshies from faucets.
And rest i dont have much idea because i do not use them

Mycelium would have to be my favorite online bitcoin wallet because it has everything you need when using an online wallet, things like address signing and more importantly a way to transfer all your funds to cold storage of some kind like a paper wallet once the day is over.
It alao needs to have a private key sweep or spending options so you can put your coins back online only when you want to use them.

Does anyone else suspect that the 4 posts above this one are all from the same user? Probably a few other posts in this thread are also from the same user, looks obvious to me.

More than 2 years I using coinbase and xapo, not yet problem untill now, but after I readed xapo has problem, I move some my bitcoin to coinbase.

To be on the safer side,withdraw all your bitcoins into any of the desktop wallets.Coinbase is messed up,never know when they can block your account for whatever reasons they claim to be against their TOS. Nevertheless,its not safe to keep your coins in online wallets.Downloading electrum and setting it up is easy as a pie.

I see that you are trying to promote your wallet here. And that is a good thing. We need more variety.
But you have to realize that apart from Blockchain.info, Xapo and Coinbase people's knowledge about online wallets is pretty limited.
Blocktrail needs serious marketing campaign to become recognizable brand.

Electrum, core and armory are better described as desktop wallets and they are much safer than online wallets. They have a paper wallet option that can be used for long term storage.

Online wallets like www.blocktrail.com provide Multi-Signature security and HD wallet technology which provide a very high level of security.

Agree with your list i dont know is they top 5 wallets but for me they are well known wallets but i used  only 2 of them and my look and for me blockchain is most stable and secure wallet) becaus i use it mostly .. coinbase is good too

I think you are right. All these posts looks very similar to me and the user holding these accounts doesn't do anything to hide it all. Signature spammer wanna be ? In fact is this kind of thread which incites these kind of replies and I think I will not get paid for this post in here but I wanted to express my opinion about the user.

I don't know any others as trusty as those but i wouldn't not go much far away from the first 2 wallets in the list. btc-e has so little alternative currencies to trade but it has a simple layout and it stays online %99.9 of the time.

But btc-e can be named as online bitcoin wallet, this is exchange site. And I don't think that btc-e is top bitcoin wallet, because there are more popular wallers was mentioned in previous posts.

You are not even sure about your own list.

1: btc-e (I heard about that first time. but you are saying that it has only a simple layout. only because of layout you can't say a wallet is best wallet, and it is an exchange. not a wallet.)

2: blockchain (this one is fine. but not that much. and not also very safe wallet, using it for storing huge amount of bitcoin, will wrack your dreams)

3: coinbase (hahaha. you said yourself that it hacked alot. and again saying this is trustworthy?)


I prefer to use desktop wallet for store bitcoin, Electrum is my only wallet,

and use online wallet to send and receive purpose.

in my openion blockchain , coinbase , mycelium ,bitcoincore , electrium these are the top best online wallet . since i tried every wallet but i found that electrium is more sensitive toward slow net .

coinbase is less secure you should use blockchain .
you can set your transaction charge manually atleast 0.0001 btc
for better confirmation .

As my experiences i ever used more than 10 online wallets, if you need to do transactions regularly don't use online wallet but you must  open deskop wallet, and this is my recommend online wallet

I suggest to you for use not many online wallets, if you have have big bitcoin balance, save your bitcoin to offline wallet, but as my experiences this is the best online wallet, maybe same with other members

I like Coinbase because you can ask other people to pay you(bitpay style!) without worrying about if you have set the correct address.

I do not use 5 different types of wallets so I cannot tell you that what are the top 5 wallets.You can search it on google and you will find results with reviews.For me I use blockchain.info wallet which is the best for me.

I reccomend BreadWallet on AppStore!

I don't know what the best wallet is, to be honest. But I know trusted wallets, used by many people without major problems, such as blockchain.info and electrum. But maybe the best is an offline wallet, for this you can download the Bitcoin Core wallet.

I'm sure just about two BTC wallets, which are blockchain.info and core wallet. I do not have enough information to recommend the other three.

I have used blockchain.info from like start and still sticked to them. However i also like electrum as wallet  so for me i only have experience with two wallets.

I use mostly Blockchain.info, Electrum Wallet and Bitcoin Core wallet. These three are good alternatives in my opinion.

Just few minutes ago I read a thread here that blockchain faced another hacking attack. this is not first time I am reading that. blockchain hacked several times in future. it is really not 100% secure. but yes. as you said most people still love to use blockchain as this is easy to use and sending and receiving funds is very easy with that.
but I suggest you one thing. use blockchain only for receiving and sending small amounts.. for storing big amount use a cold wallet.

i am using COinbase and xapo wallete only,dont know about top fibe wallet.but this 2 website is more helpful for me.there are no tranjecstopn fees,its totally free to use.both of those safe and secure near to me.so i think dont need another wallet

Doing the same because its simply the best and also the most used wallet there is these days.
The best online wallet on this point without any doubts.

I don't have much familiarity with the electrum wallet, but I see that many users recommend it and have no problems with it, besides the fact that it is not necessary to wait so long for synchronization to occur. This can bring certain advantages. Maybe I'll consider testing someday.

I usually use Coins.ph, Bloackchain.info, and Coinbase.com, that's my three favorite online wallets.

Well, so many people use electrum because it is lightweight Bitcoin client, it's fast and easy to use, I'm sure once you have used it you will love it. ;-)

it is funny. I only know 3 online wallets and now you are asking for a top 5 online wallets. Weird. Mine are blockchain, coinbase, Xapo. However, Coinbase is the best since it is very easy to use and the company also covers the fees for use. Xapo had this feature in the past but now xapo users have to charge for the fee. I do not like blockchain. I would rather use PC wallet than use the blockchain

I don't think that many are going to agree that coinbase is the best. It's more believable if blockchain is going to be the best. And my top 5 is blockchain, xapo, electrum, bitcore and mycellium. I don't want to include coinbase because it's not really good for me. Xapos' charging of fee's is not even a big deal.

Why do you spread false information? they have never been hacked, clients info is not saved on their databases and they let you have private keys of addresses, I have never lost my bitcoin balance there, have you? blockchain.info is one of the first and for me the best web wallet, I wouldn't suggest other services as long as this one is working perfectly.

i use wallet from market exchange which i have 3 wallet, using bitcoin core, jaxx but i don't know what the top 5 online wallets since every people have different wallet that they use. we have many option to use every wallet but we only select what we are comfort with the wallet especially with the fee, if we can manage how much the fee, then i think it will be good for us.

I do not think we have 5 reputable online wallets but I would recommend using blockchain.info, xapo and coinbase and maybe a desktop wallet like multibit  to hold your coins on.

Yes really very difficult to choose the online wallet to the top 5, and averaged only choose 3. But you right blockchain.info, xapo and Coinbase is top online wallet, many people who use all three (including me). But there is something that I think is is not delightful at xapo, that is when we will log in sometimes must send this code via mobile phone where if phone number is lost we can not log in. In truth, it was very good but it should be more careful to keep the mobile phone number so is not lost and I'm including people who are always change the mobile phone numbers :D But all including top online wallet and highly recommended.

Everyone has its own kriterija but to my opinion blockchain.info and Xapo wallets are the best or they should be placed among 5 best. This is based on my own experience which is very good and that is why I recommend them. And it's always good to use more then one wallet because of security reasons.

there is no top online wallets because everyone prefer a different wallet , and about me and the most of people and who use bitcoin prefer blockchain or xapo for my experience because of the security , low or no fees , fast transaction , available in android or ios like an application easy to use in the phone
but maybe there are some people who prefer others wallet because of market exchange how is not available in blockchain and xapo

Most important aspect of web wallets is that they should supply you with the private key belonging to your wallet address. Other features come after that.

In case the wallet service in question experiences downtime or other problems, you'll still be able to gain access to your coins where you can quickly move them to your own wallet for example.

If a wallet service doesn't give you access to the private keys, then it should be a straight no go. There are enough alternatives.

You can already on using blockchain.info since you could already posses your private keys which you could able to see on settings which is really great for me that they decided to provide keys for their users and regarding on this it is my top web wallet as of now next will be coinbase and xapo.I just only mention 3 wallets not to tend to use other.

Actually I'm users of multi online wallet right now.In my opinion blockchain.info will be the best online wallet after using others service.Coinbase was my first wallet at beginning in bitcoin industry so i can't neglect it where most of users against with coinbase.Never faced any issue with coinbase that is reason still using it.

I am using coinbase and xapo Wallet. But now Xapo starting charge for transation. So why i leave it, and now only using Coinbase wallet.Its safe and secure to me. I never faced any issue using coinbase. I have also blockchain wallet, But I use Blockchain little. I have seen, Here most of the people, and campaign manager use blockchain wallet for transation BTC.

Coinbase wont charge any transaction fees and they still pay the network transaction fees ,just now Xapo started charging network transaction fees and so far the major web wallets are safe and if you are having a large amount of coins it is always better to save in your own desktop or offline wallet.

The total number of Blockchain wallets created reached almost 12 million

Based on the recommendations of the of the official bitcoin site bitcoin.org, so I just use the online wallet are listed. I'm currently using 4 web wallets: coinbase, xapo, coin space and green address.

Only wallets I have used: (1)Blockchain.info,(2) coinbase,(3) xapo,

aside from xapo and blockchain web wallets I don't know what are the other best wallets in terms of security and reliability, I don't include coinbase cause I haven't tried their web wallet and there are lots of issues regarding to their service . so far I am only using two web wallets which is the blockchain and coins.ph which is a popular wallet service provider here in my country . these wallet that I have mentioned is the only wallets that are best for me .

For me I use Xapo because they have a very good security, they send you a text message to your phone that has a verification code whenever your account gets accessed from another ip or another device, they also have a debit card that is used like any regular credit card,but you should never putt all of your bitcoin in one wallet.
