Title: Re: Bitcoin Graphics in Vector Format (Illustrator)
Post by: Nathan Baulch on June 12, 2011, 07:21:32 AM
This is a response to the Bitcoin Graphics in Vector Format (Illustrator) (http://forum.bitcoin.org/?topic=1756) topic. I'm new to these forums so I'm forced to post here but hopefully bitboy (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2062) finds this message somehow.

Bitboy, thanks for your awesome vector logos! I've modified one of your gold coins to use as the logo for my new C# BitCoin client library BitCoinSharp (http://code.google.com/p/bitcoinsharp/).

As you can see Inkscape wasn't able to figure out the inner circle from your Illustrator file so I've left it gray. I noticed that you made an SVG available but it only contains the more modern orange logos (I prefer the gold coin logos myself). Other than that I think it looks pretty slick for a graphically challenged programmer like myself. ;D

The underlying SVG can be downloaded by clicking on the image above. As a derivative work I'm happy to release it to the public domain also.

Thanks again,
Nathan

It would be nice for a mod to move this thread as a response to it's appropriate thread.

Nice work by the way.

I've passed it along, but I can't merge threads with threads outside of here.
