Title: BitRaffle- A New Bitcoin Raffle Site
Post by: igloorober3 on July 23, 2016, 07:25:45 PM
Hello everyone. Im pretty new here but I wanted to share a project I'm doing. I wanted to create a bitcoin raffle site, but didn't have the technical knowledge to create a script or anything like that, so I got on wordpress and created a e-commerce store where you can purchase raffle tickets.

Each raffle ticket costs 0.001 bitcoin. How it works is you go to the shop section of our website and choose the amount of tickets you want to buy and add them to your cart. You will fill out your contact information (so I can contact you if you're a winner) and follow the instructions for payment. When we receive your order, will will hand-write the number of tickets you bought (which contain your name and email) and put them into a big container.

At the last day of each month at 8:00 pm UTC, we will pick 3 winners from the container. The winners will be listed on our blog at the end of the month, and we will contact you by email to get your desired bitcoin deposit address.

Winner #1 will win 40% of the amount of bitcoin in the pot.
Winner #2 will win 30% of the amount of bitcoin in the pot.
Winner #3 will win 20% of the amount of bitcoin in the pot.
BitRaffle takes 10% as a fee.

Please let me know what you think of the website and the concept of it. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

The concept is nice but it is nothing new, you need to make a new script as the wordpress theme you have is boring, If you need someone to help you make a new script then pm me, i know some people. Secondly, I dont think the concept is provably fair, If you dont have a way to prove that the concept is fair then people wont play

^ this is the biggest problem. How do players know if there will even be a winner or if your website takes 100%?
