Well, yeah that would be a great idea imo. I've heard of pokebits before, a Bitcoin RPG browser game. As far as know you can earn satoshi from there, but I haven't tried that before. So I think it's also possible and awesome idea to be implemented in Pokemon Go.

The idea of bitcoin implemented in pokemon go is brilliant.  So definitely I would like to see Bitcoin, Pokemon  Go partnership.  As I see Bitcoin awareness will level up since this will reach kids at young age and get them involve in Bitcoin as well.  By giving an option for them to earn thru ingame faucets, which can be  trigger by catching pokemon.

Yes surely i am waiting for this combination of Bitcoin and Pokemon Go its gonna be a killer combination

Who would be the sender? If pokemon team then why spending extra money on something they don't have any benefit, because bitcoin can not be used to buy PokeCoins because that part is managed by third party like Appstore for iOS and PlayStore for Android devices. We are optimist but when things have no logic I don't agree on them.

Im not familiar with pokemon go, but i'm wondering is it possible to (or does it already exist) a player market where you can buy/sell captured pokemons?
If such a thing is possible, then it wouldnt be hard to create a bitcoin accepting marketplace for it.

btw afaik Niantic, Inc. is the owner of the game, so they could integrate bitcoin payment as in game purchase, they wouldn't need premission from appstore/playstore, right ?

i had no idea what in the world pokemon go is so i had to get help from google to find that out. so from what i have seen i think it would be great if such implementation could be possible and because of the big community of Pokemon go i am sure that would help the adoption and popularity of bitcoin a lot. because it is always good to tell the gaming community about bitcoin, they are not like other people who are closed minded and say no to anything new.

If it is illegal to buy/sell captured pokemons, it's probably due to AML regulations, even tho it's sounds funny considering that it's just a game,
but i don't see how it would be difficult to add bitcoin payments (or integrate bitpay) to the game itself .. ?! It should be pretty straight-forward.

i was know pokemon go because some people has talking playing these game in my country and i personally didn't play pokemon go and i was never interested to play it but if those things happened i would like to see could pokemon go will makes bitcoin more popular or it doesn't any effect for bitcoin users

This is a good idea. Perhaps also to use bitcoin for purchasing Pokkemons? I haven't played the game but it will be a good way to get people interested in bitcoin. We just need to be ready for the mass that are coming our way...

Yes I would love to see bitcoin be implemented in Pokemon Go.  I like bitcoin and pokemon and to see them together would be win win for me.  Playing pokemon  and earning some bitcoin, what else can you ask for? It is like dream come true LOL.

Yes I would like to see it implemented on Pokemon Go. It would be a good thing for Bitcoin, since it would bring a lot of new people to the industry. Besides, it could also raise the demand for the currency

Pokemon Go was developed by Nintendo, Niantic, and Google. Pokemon Go is nothing more than an augmented reality version of Google Maps. The simplest way to implement Bitcoin would be adding Google Wallet into the app and having BTC as an accepted form of payment. This could be done virtually overnight.

I don't know or care about exactly what this is, but I'm hearing about it everywhere.   It's the latest fad to distract people from all the terror attacks and shitty political candidates.   So if bitcoin can somehow crowbar itself into the game and thereby create a rising tide that lifts all our boats...bring it on.  Then we're all going to wake up with a dirty whore (Trump) in our bed and wonder how the hell we didn't get sober sooner.

I think he is correct. I think, it would be better if google and apple accept bitcoins so that it can implement purchasing game credits using bitcoin. So all apps in android and ios can be accept bitcoins. But I think that idea is still far from reality.

Yeah maybe it can happen, because it is not a little too bitcoin users who play pokemon GO. maybe it will attract investors and create it. Currently it is already rife pokemon trading account with bitcoin, I think this is a sign that bitcoin will be integrated with pokemon go. hehe

I dont play pokemon go but im a pokemon fan since i was in grade school. If bitcoin is implemented in the case i would turn my real job to hunt pokemon and trade them to bitcoin.

If this will happen with Pokemon Go i will going to play it again. One of my favorite games when i was a kid is playing all version of pokemon. It is nice to earn Bitcoin while playing your favorite game. But sadly this will not happen in the future. Unless some dev will create his own pokemon go version that can use Bitcoin transaction.

why not bitcoin is famous now what if bitcoin implented pokemon go? as they travel they will earn bitcoin for free it's for loots for example  ;D and if that happen someday i will play pokemom go so that i can also earn bitcoins for free and another thing that you can sell your poken or you can sold you poken into bitcoin thats awesome for sure :)

I don't play Pokemon Go myself, but of course I would like to see Bitcoin implemented in it or in any pop culture thing. What bitcoiner wouldn't want that? It would definitely be good. Anything like this would help reduce the stigmata of bitcoin only being associated with bad things.

There would be some points before taking this leap.
Imagine you are the owner. What will you do if suddenly one wallet site requested you to do this. You can use them as your own wallet for people who will buy then it will be advertisements for them. Then more questions will come. Profits, movement of bitcoin, the risks if it falls and a lot more.

For the most part people are talking about getting paid to play pokemon in bitcoins and I don't see this as a realistic idea.. If Pokemon Go implements bitcoin it would simple be to accept payments. :P

Absolutely.  This would be one of those "bringing crypto to the masses" situation.  So many people are addicted to that and imagine if somehow bitcoin was integrated.

Yeah, but then you have to step-back and ask yourself.. What is Niantic getting out of integrating bitcoin into their game? They have enough trouble keeping their servers up, I doubt they'd do anything revolutionary for something that may not benefit them at all, but it is a nice thought. I think "the masses" know about bitcoin for the most part by now. Now the only tune that needs to change is the level of acceptance

Google wallet will never play in the same sand box as Bitcoin. They are pushing their own technology, not Bitcoin. I would like to see Bitcoin working directly with Pokémon GO and not some third party

That would be the fuel that bitcoin would need to go completely mainstream toward a mass public recognition.
But alas that is not going to happen. Nintendo toting bitcoin is just a unicorn that is made from fantasy.

It definitely would make a lot of people think about and look at earning Bitcoin, but I don't know whether or not it would actually change anything. Maybe some people would be interested but unless it was changed to be the primary payment method I don't think it would do much.

Does Nintendo actually have anything to do with Pokemon Go? I thought Niantic was a company branched off from Google. I'm curious, how would they implement bitcoin in a sustainable way other than just accepting it as payment?

No too sure about that Bill. I thought all this time that google supported their maps services used in game. And this Niantic company offered the GPS trajectory needed in the game.
I could not tell you because I have not played the game yet. No phone w/internet to use to play it. :-[

I would like to see that happen however... Nanitc is currently dealing with the biggest shit storm to cross a mobile game soo.. ya lol

Nintendo has a 12-33% share of Niantic.. Honestly not sure which as everyone source likes to tell me different amounts.

Yea that would be cool, if decent amount will be given out i'm sure everyone will run around to collect free bitcoins. in the meantime we would have to be careful from folks who could beat us and take our account/coins lol.

I'd like to see nobody above the age of 16 playing Pokemon Go to be honest. It's for kids not adults.

Wow! that would be a great news to hear, playing pokemoon  Go while earning bitcoins,that is pretty much cool dude. You enjoy playing then once you get a high score we will be rewarded by bitcoins according to our score, it is totally awesome.. :)

This might be  impossible because if you try to think how long had pokemon been, mostly people who  play the earlier version will be at its 20, or those that taken interest to play pokemon in their late years is around 50 or  something :D  This game is  classic so you will see people almost at all ages playing this game.  In addition to that Bitcoin is just a bonus if this is implemented.

that will be grate.well its just like dragon tail game concept here but without gambling and on a portable smartphone so it changes a lot of things.and by the way some of my friends had started playing it with some tweaks.

Well for me if pokemon go will available in my place implemented pokemon go with bitcoin is a good  idea and maybe i will buy some pokeballs or pokecoins using bitcoin. also earn bitcoin by playing that game.

This idea gonna be awesome, i have tried so many games that accepted bitcoin officialy i know that we can't earn much but it's prety fun earn bitcoin while make a fun with those games, the one i like was golden town it's kinda strategy game that you can build and manage your own town, well i'm not sure that bitcoin will be implemented in Pokemon Go, just saying.

Well. I also believe that would be a great Idea for bitcoiner. who can play games and earn bitcoin while playing game. it will be double benefit for games and bitcoin lovers. but I don't think so that Pokemon Go owners and developers would do this.
because pokemon go is already a world famous game, and the owners are getting huge huge revenue from that. I don't think they pay users to play games. while everyone willing to play that for free,

but creative peoples are still earning money from pokemon Go games, they offering their training service, level up levels service and getting paid in bitcoin. and Pokemon Go game's accounts are being bought/sold also in bitcoin markets.

Bitcoin is a serious matter and pokemon is a rather funny thing. However, if going to pokestop and earning bitcoin can be implemented then few people can earn bitcoin on the go. But will not have much impact on bitcoin pricing.

The main constraint for not accepting bitcoin by many business owners is that bitcoin transaction time. Once you made the payment you will have to wait for some time before it get confirmed. That's why I never transact in bitcoin, I just hold it as an investment.

While is true that I don't like this game, I always will agree and support every new idea to spread the usage of bitcoins some the world, increasing the number of bitcoiners to increase the interest of more people to join this alternate economy, because this will always have positive effects in the medium run.

Hmmm. Thats a good idea. Trading your Pokémon for bitcoin. But most of Pokémon Go players are kids. I think its inappropriate to involve bitcoin or even money coz this can affect a child and its getting more delicate coz we are talking about money here. Money is cause of crimes. Definitely! I would love it because I'll not even notice that I'm earning because I love playing it. It's really a good thing someone came up with this kind of game wherein players will be force to walk and exercise because most of the people nowadays are just seating all day facing the computer. In this way, they will be able to meet other people too and it's good for the health.

Your wrong men many people play here in the Philippines play Pokemon go I think the age of the player who play it is around 25-below , and the op suggestion will be good if it will happen so even older will play now if they can earn bitcoin from playing it.

it would be better if the developer of pokemon go will include bitcoin to purchase candy credits in game, also have btc exchange system that will allow user to user trade pokemon, items using bitcoin *crossfinger. :)

They will likely not integrate it in their system, but I like the idea of giving away bitcoins at pokestops. Another thing I wish they allowed was to transfer pokemons, this way I would also set up shop by putting up posters at pokeshop for buying the pokemons using some kind of arrangement.

I think there should be someone because nobody would throw away bitcoins, I think bitcoin will not be part of pokemon go, imagine how many other companies would like to be there, like amazon by giving amazon gift cards on the pokestops etc!

I think the purchase candy credit with bitcoin could still happen if the dev pokemon adopt bitcoin as a payment system. But to provide a marketplace selling pokemon with bitcoin I think it's a little weird, different if there is a forum gathering place for fans of this game. And here we can purchase pokemon account, as happened in this forum.

yeah, the Pokemon Go will be a great idea of having much satoshi that makes bitcoin..though  i see it as ,pretty cool. and a welcome idea i guess.

If someone (or an exchange) sponsors Pokemon Go where those who play can earn bitcoins while enjoying the game, that could be a pretty good marketing campaign for both. Imagine catching those pokemons while at the same time you are earning some bitcoins on the side. Talk about making people more aware of bitcoins by incorporating it in something that's really enjoyable.

Well niantic is not even doing its own work let alone adopt bitcoin, they had server problems, now they have 3 step problems they always have problem to deal with, to be honest I rather see them make a great game and publish it everywhere in the world first before they start putting bitcoin on their to do list, after the game is playable again they can do whatever they wish.

Pokemon go is not available in my country yet. And I am totally do not understand why it is so interesting to people. Well, Pokemon came back. When u was steen it was very popular and I was a big fan of the serial. But the game doesn't seem me so interesting. 

Nah, that would be like an in game faucet and we all know faucets are crap. Also, who would provide all those btc for the players? IMO I wouldn't want bitcoin implemented, what would be the use of it? Not everyone is using it.

As much as we really like the idea and support it with all our might - it won't really happen. Nintendo will never allow any bitcoin adoption in their games/shops.
They care too much about their good image, and frankly speaking bitcoin is mostly viewed by general public as 'strange online currency' used by hackers.
Nintendo will never allow bitcoin to taint their 'family friendly' entertainment environment.

I have not played pokemon go yet.
If bitcoin would be just implemented to buy things there, without giving me the ability to earn anything, that would be no reason for me to start playing.
But if I could somehow make profit out of it I would appreciate it very much.

To play this game, you don't need to spend even $1, but for people who like to donate their money it would be good, i think if niantic will add bitcoins they will also get good money.

I think they can't affoard to give that much (i.e., you go somewhere and find bits and earn). But there's a chance to add bitcoin as a payment method to buy stuffs on pokemon go, if the owner wants.

I think if this application (PokemonGo) support the Bitcoin that will be helpful to promote this crypto currency and advertise it , as so many people nowadays are using this app

Yeah, awareness of cryptocurrency will be spread thru out the next generation.  By implementing bitcoin in pokemon Go , there will be lots of younger audience that will be exposed to Bitcoin and that will make promotion campaign for bitcoin much easier. And at the same time Pokemon Go will have another set of audience too.

That's a good idea, earning Bitcoins for every Pokemon found or captured but I would guess this will be like faucet type of game where it will take you months before you accumulate earnings enough to pay for you mobile phone call credits.

Then it is time for us to make our own version of the game and do our own thing and not wait for some "family friendly" corporation to dictate their terms for the use of Bitcoin. We have enough talented

In the future once lightning network is out maybe thanks to payment channels we can see transactions in real time happening with millions of people playing the games...

That's good if bitcoin is implemented in Pokémon, because the advancement of bitcoin as well digital currency reaches large number of people as its been played by huge number of users than the digital currency usage.

I don't think Pokémon will ever accept Bitcoin payments. The game industrie isn't that fast with the adoption of Bitcoin payments. Offcourse when some big game companies start to accept Bitcoins the rest will follow really soon. But so far very disappointing at all possible the big companies don't dare at all.

Well they did not expect this much people playing their game, that's for sure.
They are suppose to be responsible and to be blamed though, since they were not able to read and predict somewhat accurate the global hype the game had when they first released the game teaser/trailer back in 2014.

It looks like great if you catch a pokemon and you can sell it into bitcoin it is very addicting and if i can buy pokemon in terms of bitcoin it is also better. If that will happen i will catch pokemon as many as i can. To have an extra income in bitcoin.

Well it might look very good to do. But this will not be good enough to do, because I think we will be very hard to find and catch a pokemon that has a pretty big price or all pokemon would be very difficult to find. Better follow facuet, contest, sign campaign in earning. Because it is fun and profitable

Actually its a good idea but if you are linking game with bitcoin it will cause scam attempt, and also when you played the game for profit, the game will less enjoyable, so i prefer the game stay just game without the interfere by bitcoin
