I began back early this month and saw lots of fans coin, country coin. WTH? can someone just told me the exact number of altcoin announced?

It's just my rough estimate I think it's over a thousands altcoins in existence and only over 200 that are actively traded on various exchanges,some of these are just cloned of one coin or same algos with new name,and we will see more of these new coins coming because people want pump and dump..
