A 10/1 odds for btc price less than $100 at the end of the year is a no-brainer bet for those holding bitcoins. And of course no sane person would take the 9/4 bet on btc price higher than $500 as buying bitcoins would make more sense. It is just a publicity stunt to get some press. Even if they lose some money the press more than makes up for it.
