Should the video involve "server down", loading screens, unresponsive website etc? Or perhaps, "ZERO communication" from this website regarding maintenance or HACKS? Has anyone noticed PD AKA shit dice is down about 8 hours a day? Oh it's down again...i read one poster who claimed they used locked up acts btc to trade during the 8 hours they are down a day... And then I checked the btc volatility trends vs downtime at PD.... extremely interesting. And scary. QUIT PONZI SCHEMING TO TRADE STUNNA WE KNOW YOU ARE DOING IT.

What if i use an animation from a tutorial? Is that counted as not original and copying? I am kind of curious of this. If my video's intro and ending is from a another person's tutorial ( downloaded the stuff it needed to play around and edited it ) , will that be count as a plagiarism act and unable to qualify for the competition?

What I mean is using a template violates the rule that it should be an original work. Most entries used templates though so I don't know if they allow it or not. Goodluck.

I agree to that. That rule was only made that someone doesn't violates copyrights. Previous videos contests had also the same rules and lot of users used free templates to make a nice video. However little bit of changes were also made in those videos but they still got accepted.

So true. Here people are so much talking about copyright and originality that I thought I would need to start writing codes for even creating videos, editing it, adding cartoons or animations and not make use of any video editing software. The OP says that the content needs to be original and no mention about not using a software or the use of watermarks as some software does embed their watermark while converting it. There's something called like Fair Use policy by Youtube.

Templates for AE should be not considered for winnings. Just my honest opinion. Anyone with Trapcode, MagicBullet, Element3D, and $15 bucks could spit out a killer stinger in 30 minutes.

That's correct.95% of the video entries are the same.PrimeDice Logo and an AE free template with replaced captions.I hope creativity and originality takes over the winnin numbers.

I'm simply saying, for $20 bucks you can buy a template, and if you own the system, and the software, which yes, will set you back $30,000 easy, you could pop out an amazing hollywood stinger in 5 minutes.

Templates, easy to customize. Took 10 minutes to throw the logo down, add text, and 15 minutes to render out:

I hope you guys can understand that spamming and complaining does not help speeding up the process. I hope you guys can have some patient and wait it out. That's what most of us is doing and not complaining in this thread. You should be happy that primedice even host such a big prize competition for us. When they can take the bitcoin and hire somene who is a professional to do it.

I am just giving an example that they could have  taken the bitcoin to hire some professional to do it instead of hosting this competion because all the guys they are complaining. But I know their frustrated but they should understand that this competition prize pool isn't small. So maybe they need more time to think?

Yes they can give 3 btc to a professional guy to make up to 3-4 awesome professional videos. But they want to give some money to their player so they can enjoy some free money. So they thought should start a video contest.

Zoltan and hui did their jobs. The delay is caused by stunna or Edaward since Zoltan and hui are not holding any funds.
Payouts are usually done by Micro. Send him some pm's, perhaps that will help? He is in direct contact with stunna, Edward and devs.

And aren't we used to pay out delays from PD by now? All we can do is wait.
