Not for mining Its for gaming . I saw that 1060 is low in performance as compare to 970 But 1060 is the latest version and may give better benchmarks in newer games? Even though the performance might seem the same as 970. Wait a few driver updates and compare then again. I would always go with the newest series. The difference is going to be the price for your decision, but if you can afford it, then you would want to make sure that you go with the 1060. If you are worried about money, you may want to go with the 970. Good luck.

This should of been on a gaming forum where you have experienced gamers giving you advice on which one you should get.
