Really nice to see that the coin community came together and donated a good amount. I hope the funds help them out a little BTCit (yes cheesy pun)

Or have a cutoff date where he then divides spots and gives everyone say 8 spots if there's say 32 people that qualify.

But glad to see the crypto community pitching in so much.

Could be quite interesting, and frustrating at the same time though with 30 spaces filled ( plucked out of thin air ) from 256! ;D
Might go on for a while! I like ezeminers idea, we'll see what mj has to say :)

If all auction bids are paid and good, then it looks like the community has raised a bit over $2,000 USD for the family (more than the price for casascius singles :D ). That's the awesome part so far.

Thanks for this opportunity minerjones.

So if I understand correctly, one way to be eligible is to make a donation to the address in your signature which is a fire relief fund, will these donations go to the family here https://www.gofundme.com/2g8pta4 (https://www.gofundme.com/2g8pta4)?

And if the donation is $50 or more (even if not at once) then the donor gets a thank you pack, am I understanding this correctly?

Faith in humanity has been restored after seeing such generous and some even anonymous donations.

Any updates on how your family is now? Are things getting back to normal?

Thanks buddy-buddy!!! :D

And here is a link to album with some pictures I was able to take yesterday when we visited the area/site:

thanks

I'm so sorry for all of the property damage.   Almost half of my family had their homes destroyed during hurricane sandy so I have much compassion for your situation.  I have arranged a raffle for you here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1567821.0

While my donation is not much, I hope the collective of all the support from all of the people here helps at least slightly ease the burden of reconstruction.

Please let me know if you need anything.

Really refreshing to see this considering the Alt Coin section is the bane of humanity. Enough about being decent, giving people, let's talk about ETH some more. I'm "in".

minerjones, it seem you have made an error on the op , : 2nd price of my raffle have well been won by cryptohead,  but 0.015 was the price by slot... the correct result should be  0.015 x 16  ;)
