For the software, i'd keep an eye on EthOS release for 480 support in mid august. Otherwise i guess Windows is the only way to go?

Nice rig anyhow, 8gb is probably pure overkill for mining, those risers are what i use purely and recommend, they are great... unless you hit a bad batch from some crapper reseller (i get mine from aliexpress), good luck :)

I recommend these risers, direct from china http://www.ebay.com/itm/301894195252?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

They have been good for me and they give great customer service.  I had a problem with a riser and they sent another one out, managed to repair that riser so I now have an extra one seal in the bag.  I think the cables are a bit longer to

i think that the celeron might be cpu limited, if someone else tried with another cpu for this build would be useful to know if there is some cpu limit with it

While mining my CPU load is a few % on the 1840. Its not really used. Though Windows can be quite a hog for no reason.

No reason to insist on running Windows for mining Ethereum with - LINUX, especially Ubuntu/KUbuntu/XUbuntu 14.04 versions works fine, and with the Catalyst 16,7 and up drivers the 16.04 releases should also work.

I use Ubuntu 16.04 LTS for Ubuntu and 6 x 480 ref cards on each machine.

You have to download the AMD 16.3 beta drivers for AMD PRO and run the installer.

Its not for noobs lol.

There is a way to overclock the cards.  Bios and something that interacts with the driver.

I rather downvolt and downclock my cards, but up the memory mhz by flashing the bios on my windows machine then install it on the Ubuntu machines.

I recommend looking at AwesomeMiner which works to mine all coins and can mine with Claymore's.  I would avoid EthOS as the guy that is running the Dev can decide to shut your access down whenever he pleases after you have paid.  I purchased 12 copies and now I have $480 worth of software that I cannot use anymore.
Just my 2 cents
