About 2 years ago I setup bitcoin and I'm pretty sure I mined about 10 bitcoins. I saved the wallet.dat file back then and it's about 800k in size. Yesterday I decided to get back into mining and installed the latest bitcoin client miner and wallet apps on my pc. When I ran the wallet app, it said my wallet was out of sync and I let it sync up but it says I have 0 bitcoins. As I said, I'm sure I had 10. Is it possible that because I've used a new username and password for bitcoin miner that it's not getting the correct data from the wallet? Thanks in advance for any help. Shutdown the Bitcoin client. Copy the back-up of your wallet.dat (containing the 10 BTC) to: C:\Users\xenonex2003\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin Start the Bitcion client. Wait. ?
